Parking close by is horrible. Initially parked at a garage that did not mention anywhere on the site there is no overnight parking. Only realized it after entering the garage and said no overnight parking on the ticket. Was charged 20$ for sitting in the lot for 10 minutes figuring out where else to park. Just go with the valet parking.

The Renaissance Hotel is a couple of blocks to Footprint Center in Downtown Phoenix where we saw The Eagles perform. An easy walk. Several restaurants are also close by. Our room was clean and staff were super friendly and helpful. Only option is Valet Parking and staff made it easy to use our car 24/7. A Starbucks and cocktail lounge in the lobby. Highly recommend.

The decor was flawless, the cocktails at the bar were great the staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We were in town from NY for a Suns game and location was great. Would definitely make another trip.

The hotel was very clean and all staff was very hospitable, especially the housekeepers and maintenance personnel. We did receive conflicting information regarding the club room and restaurant so feel communication could be better between Management and team members.

Amazing service at Hotel Renaissance PHX
The service was amazing. I accidentally had a duplicate booking from a third party vendor. The third party did not want to issue a refund, but the staff at the hotel was very helpful in securing me that refund. Also, I left my cell phone in a Waymo self driving car and the hotel staff tracked it down for me and got it back. This was after I had already checked out. If it wasn’t for their help, I would have had to return home without my phone.

Checkin was terrible. Never notified me when my room was ready. On the 4th try they said it was ready an hour ago. Also understaffed in the midafternoon at the bar. The property is nicely maintained and has a spacious lobby.

False advertising! No EV charging here
When I arrived, I was told the hotel does not have an EV charger. I had just driven from Los Angeles so I only had 10% left in my battery. Luckily, I had a charging cable in my trunk that could plug into a regular 110 outlet, But in the 10 hours my car has been charging, it’s only added 40 miles to my range. This hotel should be advertise EV Charger as an amenity. Also, they are advertising free Wi-Fi, but when I checked in I was told I would need to pay $14 for the Wi-Fi so I have not used it.

Was walking distance to events we were in Phoenix to see and do. There was a Starbucks attached to the hotel. The room was modern and clean. Beds were comfy. Breakfast and staff in the Dust Cutter restaurant were outstanding. Our waiter John was awesome.

Wrongful charge
This was my second stay with this hotel and everything seemed to be going great, they put me in a room that had a door to another room and it was tiny. That was a little annoying because I was alone. I picked the extra $20 option to have free valet, wifi and a food credit. This was confirmed at check in and I just saw I was charged for valet. I tried to get a refund and they denied it, I tried calling to talk to someone and no one answered me from billing. I'll be disputing the charge because I have evidence and they wrongfully charged me for something they shouldn't have. I don't think I'll be staying here again. I was hoping to make this my go to when I stay in Phoenix but after this experience it is very unlikely.

The first night we got there the room was not very clean. There was long black hairs everywhere and the floor was not clean. It was around 2am and people were arguing in the hallway.
