Nice hotel not far from Desert Ridge shopping mall

Posted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: We like the size and layout of the room.
Cons: Breakfast was served at the same time all week long, so unfortunately, we came down at 9:15am on a Sunday and everything was already cleaned up.
The hotel was clean and well-maintained. We got there about an hour before check-in time and our room was ready.

Very nice

Posted Jul 19, 2015
Stayed here for a nearby family gathering, and really liked the hotel. Comfortable, roomy & clean, Kitchen with fridge, cooktop & microwave. Very good complete breakfast, nice swimming pool, plenty of convenient parking. The hotel is set up for people attending the adjacent Mayo Clinic, but if the location suits you, it's great. Good value.

We are pleased you enjoyed our comfortable suites and grounds. Yes, we are conveniently located to the Mayo hospital, but our neighborhood has numerous corporate offices for business travelers as well. For those leisure guests, we are in the Sonoran Desert and there is much to see and experience nearby including the Music Museum! Please visit again!

Centrally located in north Phoenix ,

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: Rooms are very nice
Cons: Staff leaders
Hotel rooms are very nice and clean, but we noticed a lack of care around pool area, breakfast dishes sat at a table until after 400 pm and we watched a maintainance person pick up some of them and left several for next shift. We needed help trying to raise an umbrella and could not get any help from hotel staff. We found it to be broken.

We are pleased your visit went well and wish it could have been exceptional. Our patio is a favorite place for guests to dine, relax and enjoy the beautiful desert sunsets.

I wish there would be a better rate for Mayo Clinic patients.

Rates in in our area do vary throughout the year based on demand which is driven by our great weather in the winter. Our valued Mayo Clinic guests always enjoy a discount no matter what the season.

Right beside the Mayo Clinic

Posted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: I liked the breakfast buffet and the special dinner evenings. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Cons: The pool is not heated. It would be great if it was. It was too cold to swim in.
We were on a family holiday to Phoenix. The hotel is close to the highway and many restaurants. You need a car for this location because nothing besides the Mayo Clinic is within walking distance. We were disappointed with the pool which was way too cold to swim in. The area around the pool was a nice place to sit and read. We liked the fire pits in the evening.

We are happy your family enjoyed the hotel and north Phoenix. There is much to do in our neighborhood with shops, entertainment and great restaurants. While our pool is heated, it may not be comfortable for swimming in our coldest days of winter. Like you, many people enjoy watching the sunset across the desert from the comfortable patio. Thanks for your review.

Great hotel with very clean, well designed rooms. Its out in the far north east side of town with not much around it. Quiet, decent breakfast.

Thanks for letting others know about our hotel and our complementary breakfast. Within a mile of the hotel, there is a huge marketplace with shops, restaurants and entertainment and we provide a shuttle for those without transportation.

Nice Stay Convenient Clean

Posted Apr 18, 2015 on Hotels
Only lodging next to the Mayo Clinic. Room on 6th floor was nice (asked to move after they placed min in 1st floor room see below), nice view of Mayo and the desert, quiet, comfortable bed. 5 minute drive to Whole Foods/Starbucks etc... you do have to drive. As with all Residence Inn Free Breakfast Naw I'll pass but if you like a "free hotel" breakfast it is fairly standard. The pool is nice, the exercise room is a little cramped Did a little photography jaunt around the hotel and Mayo area. Only Suggestion to Residence Inn Mayo Management: Never ever place a single professional hotel guest (with no babies in tow) on the first floor in a room that smells like diapers and diaper deodorant... Thank you for moving me though... Snobishly submitted :-00
