“Overall good stay”
The beds and pillows provided were extremely comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were very clean. Located in a somewhat less than good area. Stay inside when the sun goes down!
“Phoenix Motel on Highway”
The motel was very nice and the amenities were all very good. The breakfast was good, the rooms were clean very big and nicely furnished. The only minus is that you are literally on right off the highway so the road noise gets old. But it's nothing I couldn't live with, but if your easily awoken you might look elsewhere.
“Very impressed! Will definitely return.”
This hotel was very roomy. Everything was very clean. the bed linens were also clean. I liked the breakfast they served, had alot of variety. Then pool area was very clean.
“Marriott”
the room was great. will book it again the next trip
“Perfect!”
This hotel was by far one of the very best I've ever stayed in! We were not due to check in until 3, but arrived way earlier...around 9 am. They were HAPPY to let us into our room early, informed us of all the facilities (Marketplace, pool, hot tub, fitness center..) and offered any help. The customer service was truly unbeatable. EVERYONE was kind, helpful, and friendly. The free breakfast was amazing. We were only in the hot tub/pool once, and they were clean, well-maintained, and there were plenty of towels poolside. Our turndown service was absolutely fantastic, and we had a cleaned room and fresh towels each day! The grounds are well maintained, the hotel itself is very nice, and our room was perfect, we stayed in the studio suite and loved it. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. This was my first trip to PHX, and I was equally impressed with our hotel as I was the sights of the whole city. Great place to stay, very central!
“Disappointing location,on top of a MAJOR freeway.Definately not a resort-just a motel”
You will definately need a vehicle here, not even a convenience store is within walking distance with young children. The main highway and I do mean MAJOR highway is only the width of a road away so it can be noisy with the sound of the traffic.Clean amenities but a studio with 4 people (and two of these were kids) was very tight and the sofa bed needed folding up to move around freely during the day.An oven with no baking dish nor tongs to turn things over had me wondering why they have one in the unit at all :-( Breakfast was good and the staff great.Pool was too cold and spa was too hot.Probably the lower end highlight of a 5wk holiday to the USA.Reviews made it seem friendlier than it was.We wouldnt stay here again mainly due to the location and not as 'resort-like' for the pool and spa area.Book elsewhere, away from here and you will be much happier.
“Not my favorite destination!”
We had to balance the inconvenience of the pull out sofa, with the convenience of the daily breakfast. We were interested in doing some walking for exercise, but felt a little uncomfortable in the neighborhood. One night we heard gunshots, which we assumed came from the apartment building next door. The staff was very friendly and seemed to be happy with their jobs. The front desk person was not familiar with the local events and locations, so we were on our own to find a place for a manicure and directions to the Wrigley Mansion. We did find lots of brochures in the lobby, and we did have use of the hotel guest's computer, when it wasn't in use.
“Comfortable and quiet.”
The only complaint we had with our stay was the lack of hot water. With 4 adults staying in the room we ran out of hot water by the third person either bathing or showering. Spoke with the front deak staff and they did not seem to be concerned, stating that is something that only a few others have complained about. We had a penthouse suite and did not expect to run out of hot water when showering. We did limit our showers to less than 4 minutes and we still ran out of hot water. Would only recommend this location for 1 to 2 travelers staying in a room.
“Will definetly stay here again!!”
The breakfast was great, the room service was spectacular, the pool was clean and the environment was great!! Expedia saved us lots and we will definetly stay here again. The room was great, had everything my family needed, including dishes!! Thanks Expedia.
