One week stay in AZ

Posted Sep 29, 2014
The room was a one bedroom suite with a kitchenette and two TVs. Very helpful staff and the included breakfast was provided each morning from 6:30 to 9:00 AM, letting vacationers sleep in a little! Great week

the television controls prompt the use of an app

Posted Aug 26, 2014
the television controls prompt the use of an app downloaded to your personal electronic device just to watch basic tv. one should be able to turn on the set and catch local news and sports without the need to go through so much advertising.

Hi there, I hope that your stay was enjoyable but I hate to say it may not have been at our Residence Inn. I do recognize the process you've mentioned as I've experienced it myself at other hotels. However, the Residence Inn Phoenix Mesa televisions do not have the programming which prompts downloads prior to usage. I appreciate you sharing your feedback and do hope that it is relayed to the property which you visited as I'm sure they would be grateful for the comments as well. Have a great day, Macey

Great Place to stay

Posted Aug 18, 2014
I booked for one night for my IDC but the staff treated as if I were staying, spending a large amount, you know the special feeling you get when you book a coupe of weeks. Awesome stay, thank you!

Good location, good breakfast, reasonable comfort

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Dark shades. Breakfast.
Cons: Comfort of sofa, noisy a/c.
Great location -- quiet but only two lights off 60 East / West, right by a mall, target and several restaurants (eg quizo's, chipotle). We had a ground floor room facing a side street but heard no noise (three night stay). The blackout shades on the windows are fantastic - set an alarm or you won't wake. Sofa in room was not very comfortable, but ok. Worked better as a sofa bed. A/c functioned well but was noisy -- in-room units. Shower was powerful and hot. Good breakfast with multiple hot and cold offerings - muffins, bagels, toast, cream cheese, pb, mixed cut fruit, bananas, eggs, sausage, parmesan potatoes, cereal, juices, coffee, tea, hot chocolate.

Hi Jan, We appreciate all of the detailed feedback... and we have to admit, we love the black-out shades too! Our hotel is a pretty comfortable place to get a good nights' rest :) I appreciate the feedback regarding our sofas and noisy AC unit as well. We will be sure to address these two items in your room immediately as both have a remedy! Have a fabulous day and come see us again, Macey

This hotel was just ok! Not great just average the pool was dirty and the room carpet was wet! It also had a very musky smell good for sleeping the night not sure I would return

Hi Travis, Thank you for your comments and feedback regarding your most recent stay. We were in the midst of getting our carpets cleaned during your stay and I'd like to apologize for not communicating that with you better! Please rest assured this would not typically be the case. I'll also look into our pool cleaning schedule as I'm sure we could lend more attention to that area. Have a great day, come see us again! Macey

Great place to stay

Consistently clean and staff is friendly. Fridge and ac unit a little noisy, but easily remedied by turning the fan on full time to cover the noise. Could use updated decor but not my top priority.

Just ok

While the staff were most helpful and pleasant, the property overall has a minimalist and barely functional feel to it. It didn't measure up to the standard of comfort that we've experienced at other Residence Inns.

One Elevator

Posted Feb 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel was great with the exception of having only one slow elevator per building. Being on the third floor, this led to traffic jams during the busy times of the day, especially the mornings when everyone is trying to checkout while balancing their luggage.

Hi Bruce, I'd like to thank you for the feedback of your recent stay. While we can not do much to make up for the lack of elevators we can certainly note that during busy times it may be of benefit if we provide extra staff to be available for luggage assistance. I'm sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused and look forward to making it up to you during your next visit! Have a wonderful day, Macey Duncan
