Desert Gem

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: Pool great, service great, air con great. Breakfast was quite comprehensive
Cons: All quite fine.
Location: It was 44 degrees so doing things was isolated to aircon - so went to Arizona Mills. As an aussie in US, raided the shops for their cheap clothes.
Great hotel and great staff. Picked up from airport which was great and taxied us around when required. Room was the 2 queen beds and was very spacious and cheap. mini kitchen and seperate basin from bathroom were great,

Easy walking distance to Chase Field

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Proximity to everything
Cons: Air con worked on and off so made for a slightly restless nights' sleep.
Easy walking distance to Chase Field and other amenities including restaurants and bars. Great for inner city accommodation including free parking for those with a vehicle.

business trip to Phoenix

Posted Jun 16, 2014
I was in downtown Phoenix on business. Hotel location is good. On 2nd floor. Street and next door room noise higher than normal. Heard elevator all night (2 rooms down from it). Most of staff very responsive, but a couple just going through the motions.

Great hotel for the $

It is a good hotel for the money. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and considering the hotel is in downtown Phoenix, it is pretty quiet.

Good value for business or tourists in downtown

Posted May 27, 2014
Pros: Free breakfast; pantry area with reasonable prices (make use of in-room fridge and microwave); value priced and close to downtown. Free shuttle
Cons: More reliable internet - if advertise free wifi, make sure it works consistently
Only a short walk from downtown, convention center, USAirways Arena and Chase Field. Generous-sized rooms with suite and decent complimentary breakfast. Complaint - the touted free wifi is iffy and unreliable, especially for laptops. Ended up using the ethernet cable so I could get work done.

Great location to see a ballgame.

Posted May 24, 2014
Pros: Location, location, location.
Cons: The air condition in the room because it gets quite cold and cleanliness.
Location: Within walking distance to Chase Field.
The best part about this hotel is that it's within walking distance to Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
