“Can't recommend”

Hotel was undergoing quite a bit of construction. Room smelled strongly of soapy fragrance -- perhaps they had just cleaned the carpets? Bathroom area small; no in-room coffee maker

“More comfortable in my car”

I think this hotel was under construction. It was hot upstairs. Our carpet looked like they painted without protecting the carpet. Then they used carpet fresh and a vaccum that left alot behind. The towel bars had drips of paint on them. You could see the old color of paint because they didn't cover it with enough paint. When I took a shower the water would go from warm to cold then back again. Someone was smoking in theie room.

“Overall good”

They were doing a complete remodel when I stayed there. Nothing kept me awake or was annoying, but the lobby was being redone and every day there were people working on everything. Overall the stay was good, nothing amazing, but decently priced.

“Basic Satisfactory Super 8”

Room was okay. Free breakfast every morning. (Contintental). I would rec. as place to stay if not looking for luxury.

“Good hotel”

Super motel 8 is a good option if you are staying for a weekend. The only bad thing was that they didn't have internet, their network was down and that was kind of disappointing. Other than that, it was fine.

“Bargain...get on the internet at McDonald's.”

We were assigned a smoking room even though we reserved non smoking. The website for the hotel said they had wireless internet...but they didn't. In fact I think it had been down for a long time and was down for the entire week that we stayed. The breakfast was no frills,, but good. The cleaning staff was good. Very satisfied with the staff. The price was good and the pool was clean and not overly crowded. The interstate exit was closed but it wasn't a problem getting off and on anyway. The park by Estrella Mt. was very worth visiting and the location for Reds and Indians Spring Training was second to none. The hotel was located in an area where everything was within driving distance for essentials. I would have liked a refrigerator...oh well. Plastic trash can in hallway to collect water from ceiling...painting crew at work...nice regular folk stay there.

Area recommendations

Estrella Park...The Nature center has a ranger that does wonderful lessons for kids. ie pet snakes, feed scorpions, discuss desert wildlife. Nice trails and playground equipment. The Reds Spring Training site is wonderful and all the locations are fairly accessable. If you are from the East and have never been out west...take the 3hr drive north to the Grand Canyon and Flagstaff...incredible....the drive that is.

“Ghetto”

Lousy service, inhospitable, sorry continental breakfasts. Dirty and dingy, located in the back of a Waffle House parking lot. We did not put in for a wake up call but received one anyway at 1:00 AM in the morning. If you go during the summer you better brig your own AC since the one in the room sucks.
