Pros: Smaller than average resort properties.
Cons: A Hair and nail salon would be great!
Location: Tons of restaurants in the area
It was nice, the music at the pool was nightclub music, not fitting for the crowd. Something more relaxing would be better, Bob Marley or classic rock.

Nice amenities/friendly staff

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Friendly and helpful staff. Quick and easy check in, got an upgraded room. Rooms look like they have had a facelift but still a little old and worn. Pool was great. Food at the pool and the restaurant disitro were excellent. Great drink options at the pool.

Convenient to Old Town Scottsdale

Posted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: Fun colors, comfortable rooms, nice pools, good bars, tasty bar food, good-sized bathroom and tub, good air-conditioning, nice people, very helpful.
Cons: Pool furniture could be cleaned more often. It rained and it showed all the stains, etc.
Location: Old Town Scottsdale is literally across the street. Diamondback's game was a 20 minute ride away. Check out the tripsfortips golf cart = awesome!
I enjoyed my stay at The Saguaro. The room was comfortable. Lots of towels in room, nice bed with lots of pillows. Minor hiccup in getting trash removed from room, but, otherwise housekeeping was fine. Quiet pool was my preference and was very nice, main pool has a good bar and snack hut that serves full meal type food. Side note ride sharing service is very reasonable to/from airport and to/from Chase Field for Diamondback's games.

Great place excellent location

Posted Jun 8, 2015
The hotel is in Old Town Scottsdale a perfect location . I was heading out to Old Town to meet a friend for an evening of dinner and adult beverages . For the price and location it was way better to get a hotel room to get a DUI . Park my car and walked to the restaurant . Walked back afterward. Very clean room . And very quiet for Saturday night . It's youngers hip place but very comfortable

Renovated hotel near Old Downtown Scottsdale

Posted Jun 3, 2015
The room was clean and bed was very comfortable. The furnishings were modern and paint colors were bright. The hotel staff was efficient and the bell man/valet was very helpful with suggestions on dinner and greeting me.

Clean and comfortable rooms but bad service staff

Posted May 18, 2015
We loved everything about The Saguaro except the bar and pool service. Although the bar and pool area didn't seem to be especially busy we waited quite awhile for our order to be taken and when we finally did order it took a long time to get our drinks and food. We weren't checked up on and ultimately had to track our server down for our bill. Comfortable and clean rooms, excellent location, but service staff needs some work.

NOISY MOTEL

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: Its locality.
Cons: See above statement, many things need improving.
Location: Old Town is close & the shops are fun.
Not only was the motel loud, but the rooms had only one semi-passible chair to sit in. The plates from the breakfast meal, were piled at the bottom of the stair well, just waiting to feed some hungry rat, (for over 24 hours). The motel is over-priced for what you get. The resort fee is also very cumbersome, although I doubt it is the fault of the motel. My downstairs neighbor came in at 11:00PM, loud & smoking. The smoke wafted up into our air conditioner intake, & filled my room with cigarette smoke. The Distrito Restaurant is WAY over priced. All & all, I would not come back, or recommend this to anyone. Dated & bright

Posted May 17, 2015
The bath had only one sink & no place to put personal items. I think art deco is the decor, but the room was bright but not we'll lit. They have barn doors for the bath which are incredibly heavy to slide. The ice maker was broken & they would leave room food trays on the floor beside the ice maker for more than 24 hours...wouldn't that draw rodents? The staff were nice as was valet but for $160/night plus $25/day resort fee.... it was definitely not worth it.
