“Diamond in the Rough”
Forget about the so called high-end hotels in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. This is the second time we stayed here and the value for the money can't be beat. Rooms are very clean, service is impeccable and the restaurants serve excellent food.

“The reviews were right!”
One of the main reasons I chose the Scottsdale Resort was based on the other reviews. People were right - it was a beautiful hotel and the service (from the front desk, bars, concierge, etc.) was wonderful. Check-in time was at 3pm, but they gave me a room at 10 a.m. (without hesitation) since my flight arrived early. The grounds are well kept and it was nice having 2 separate pool areas. I stayed in a "casita" and not the main hotel, which I really appreciated - less foot traffic.
“8 Thumbs Up”
Scottsdale Resort exceeded our expectations. The kids enjoyed the pool and room service and we were taken back by our dining experience at the restaurant. It was excellent!
“Perfect experience”
I needed a little rest and relaxation. The Scottsdale Resort offered the perfect level of service and comfort. The beds were some of the most comfortable I have ever slept in at a hotel. The pool was quiet and relaxing. The pool bar available for a cocktail and a light lunch. Could not have been happier, unless I could have stayed longer.
“Great place to stay when in Scottsdale”
We've stayed at this hotel twice in two years, during Spring Training baseball. It's extremely comfortable, quiet, and has very nice grounds. Both times, we've booked through Expedia and gotten a Casita room. Not sure how they compare to the other rooms but they feel a bit more secluded and private. The rooms are a bit small but still very comfortable. Ours had a small balcony with table and chairs. The grounds are very pretty with lots of tile and fountains. The bar is a great place to hang out with pool tables and a decent jukebox. The room service and bar food are both above par. They also service finger food during a daily happy hour. Service was excellent, especially room service waiters. Complimentary valet parking at the front of the hotel or park your car in one of the many spots. We got massages this trip in the spa. It's really just a fitness room (pretty good set of equipment) with jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and massage room in the men's and women's bathrooms. Overall, a very comfortable, relaxing, enjoyable stay.
“Good value in upper end Hotels”
I enjoyed the location. It was right were we could play golf in Scottsdale. The beds were very comfortable and the room nicely appointed with high speed internet (included in the resort fee). The staff was very helpful and friendly. I plan on using this hotel on my nest visit.
“You will love it”
This is a GORGEOUS hotel. Beautiful grounds, lovely fountain in front, beautiful lobby. Rooms were comfortable and beds were GREAT! Very quiet and private, nice pool. Had zero complaints and would definitely return. About 10-15 minutes north of downtown Scottsdale so close to everything but not in the thick of traffic or noise.
“Quite Nice”
Nice place and nice people. Probably more than you would need if not spending time in the facility during the day. We went in Aug, Off Season, and had the run of the place.
“Beautiful Hotel”
Wonderful Hotel! We will most certainly stay there again..
