Ok if you are all about golf

Posted Jan 16, 2015
Pros: Like that there was Little Pueblo Mexican restaurant across the street that offered good food and better drinks.
Cons: Even though there were not many guests at the hotel, they still sent over two security guards to kick us out of the hot tub next to the adult pool 10p
Location: Nothing to do near by. Since the resort pools and restaurants close at 10 and 9 respectively and the pool grill never opened, went across street.
Called before booking and said they would open water slide for our girls upon request. We requested when we got there and they refused. Said it was closed for the season. Also there wasn't any other guest at the resort, so figured out why because the staff was not all that friendly.

More than I Imagined!

Posted Jan 14, 2015
Cons: I cannot think of anything!
The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the staff were all so very friendly. We ate several times at the restaurants there during our stay and the food was amazing. Our room had a golf course view with a small patio with a table and chairs and chaise lounge.....It was so quiet and the room made you feel like you had your own little adobe.....we loved it, and will be back for sure.....Loved the evening outdoor entertainment as well! Very close to shopping and other restaurants as well and a nice area to walk every morning!

Beautiful hotel

The hotel grounds are beautiful. We had drinks at Litchfields and the atmosphere was perfect for a romantic night out with my husband. We will be staying here again when we can use the pools.

Wonderful Southwest-themed resort

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Pros: Setting, room size
Cons: Wi-Fi is not free. At a hotel of this caliber, this is inexcusable.
Location: Litchfield Park is a small community approximately 15 miles west of downtown Phoenix. Close to the resort are a small restaurant/cafe & shopping.
Check-in/out was quick. Room was spacious with large bathroom. Well-appointed. Grounds at the resort are impeccable.

Thank you for your review. While we are very happy that you enjoyed your stay with us, we do regret if the cost was not as you anticipated. We believe the fee that you mentioned is the resort fee which covers many amenities including use of our pools and fitness center. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back again in the future. Thank you.

Nice stay

Posted Jan 5, 2015
Overall it was a very nice first stay at the property. We went specifically to play golf. The courses were in good condition. Gold course is the better and more challenging. All resort staff were very knowledgeable and customer focused. Rooms were nice, clean. Bathrooms definitely need updating. The plumbing is... lacking.

Historical landmark and excellent family resort.

Pros: Friendly staff, Family atmosphere, Great pools, Awesome holiday decorations, great food, pleasant grounds. EZ parking.
Cons: There was a large dead bug in the floor when I checked in. (LARGE). It was never picked up by the maid staff. I left it there just to see.
Location: Golf Golf & Golf. Pools are great.
Large large rooms with maybe the most comfortable bed ever. EZ friendly check in, Bellman guided me to the room (needed guidance the place is huge). Room was nicely furnished, and bathroom (although dated tile and fixtures) was very nice. Really nice patio. Free Wireless, Great TV. Starbucks coffee in room, and refrigerator as well. I do wonder if they clean the glasses though as I saw a maid cart and did not notice clean glasses on the cart. Does that mean they just rinse used glasses out and put them back. (ugh).
