Pros: The courtesy of the staff and all the amenities needed.
Cons: nothing
Very pleasant staff in the hotel and restaurant. The Limo service (AZlimo) was professional and pleasant - always on time.

Best party hotel in Scottsdale

Awesome decoration, great room, perfect location, crowded pool with dj and service, great food and right across the street from the main bars and night clubs

W Hotel.... Awesome!

Posted Apr 17, 2014
Pros: Modern, Clean, Happy, Hopping, Relaxing.... Home.
Cons: Better onsite coffee and breakfast.... the Breakfast Club is a 10 minute walk and a great breakfast spot. We ate there instead of the W.
Location: Close to everything.
Hot spot on the weekends and nice and quiet on the weekdays. Walking distance to Old Scottsdale and great restaurants, bars and shopping. Great Couples and business place.... not so much for families that need a more quiet softer place.

Heart of Scottsdale

Fun place. Great lounge scene, close to old town bars. Pool is nice but not enough lounge chairs. A little too pricy.

Beautiful hotel, great location

Posted Feb 25, 2014
Stayed for one night during a trip to AZ. Really beautiful modern hotel, room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. Walking distance to upscale mall and lots of great restaurants. Great for singles, couples, not really a family place for kids. Nice lounge and a fun, lively nightclub.

Very Cool Hotel in a Great Location!

Posted Feb 15, 2014
Pros: W Hotels are somewhat dark and atmospheric, with plenty of techno music, and the W Scottsdale is no exception. Me, I love this ambience!
Cons: Can’t think of a thing!
Location: Nearby (walking distance) restaurants with vegetarian options include the delightful Malee’s Thai Bistro on Main Street.
Really, my title says it all! I stayed at the very cool W Scottsdale for four nights in February 2013. I had a W Spectacular Room, which, while smallish, was fine for me. The room was well away from the noise of the lobby and bar area. My king bed was VERY comfy! The room was nicely cleaned each day. All staff members were friendly and helpful, including Jon at the front desk and the adorable Elise in the Living Room lounge. The W Scottsdale is within easy walking distance of Old Town Scottsdale, and a twenty-minute drive from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. It is close to Camelback Mountain, and is also a good jumping-off point for other Valley hiking destinations such as Cave Creek Regional Park.

Loud hotel and way too hipster

Posted Jan 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
We got in late and I had a work meeting early in the morning. The hotel staff put us in a room right next to a club. We heard loud music till 3am in the morning. Barely got any sleep. Will not stay there ever again.
