Housekeeping was disappointing & no hot water.

The first time we stayed at this hotel was for a 7 night duration. The housekeeping staff didn't empty the garbage cans on a continuous basis, and didn't make the bed one morning. We stayed for 1 night approx. 2 weeks later due to the hotel's convenient location. On our second stay, we got a room that didn't even have hot water. Very disappointed in this accommodation.

Very nice condo style resort in East Mesa

Pros: Comfortable and clean.
Cons: Pool towels could be larger and nicer.
Wonderful experience at this resort located in East Mesa. The two bedroom unit was very spacious and very clean. Bedding was all very comfortable. The pool was quite large with a volleyball net and some pool supplies such as volleyball, noodles and balls. The pool towels definitely need to be much larger. The location is pretty far East in Mesa so plan for at least 30-45 minutes to Scottsdale or the airport. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Reasonably Priced and Comfortable

Pros: Comfortable layout and wide range of activities.
Cons: Either change the bed linen or at least ask the guest if a change was needed.
Everything was fine except the maid did not change the sheets.

Staff is indifferent

My experience was rated thus because of an incident when I returned to my room on Sat. night. I walked up to my balcony with my 4 year old grand-daughter to find a man with no pants on sitting outside my room. I rushed her in the room and called the front desk for security. The person at the front desk had nothing to say except maybe I should call security. Nothing was done to remove the man. Security never showed up.

Good location near golf school

Pros: Close to Red Mountain Ranch Country club and our golf school. Also, enough room to spread out for the four days of our stay.
Cons: Carpet was stained. Bathroom was large, but needs to be remodeled.
The one bedroom unit we rented was quite spacious, but a little tired. Carpet was stained, bathroom needs to be remodeled. Our unit faced the main street, so we didn't utilize the balcony space, but the units on the other side would have been lovely as they faced a golf course. The full kitchen included a dish washer and enough dishes for our 4 day stay.

Rooms need updating.

Pros: The king size bed was very comfortable! We also enjoyed the restaurant. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, etc.
Cons: The villas really need updating although the appliances did work and I was happy to have the washer & dryer in the room.
Location: The mall was very close. Grocery/drug store, Kohl's and gas station very handy.
The staff was very accommodating. The amenities were very acceptable but we only used the hot tub & pool. The room was tended to every day as promised. Bed was made, fresh towels, waste cans were emptied each day. We really enjoyed the restaurant. Food was plentiful and delicious. The atmosphere was upbeat & cheerful and the staff was pleasant and accommodating, and the prices were very reasonable. We even enjoyed the karaoke a few times! All in all our experience was very good.

Well positioned hotel for golf

Location: Good golf courses close by
We have been to the Westgate in Mesa 8 times, however on this occasion we suffered with the very noisy air conditioning outside the room every night. The hotel has good facilities such as a pool, jacuzzi and a small gym.
