Comfortable and quiet. Great location.Posted Apr 4, 2014
Pros: Beds, Shower. Quiet. Location.
Cons: Dated, uncomfortable furniture except for the bed. Also, get rid of all the extra pillows.
Location: Phoenix Convention Center. Sports arenas. Science Center. Herberger Theater.
Checked-in late on Monday. Keith made it a breeze. No mandatory internet fees. Though there is a fee. I am waiting for the day consumers speak with their wallets and hotels include internet as part of the basic rate. In the meantime, you can just tether your iPad/laptop to your cell phone for decent wireless....free. Some quick points. My king suite was clean. The bed was very comfortable once you got by the ridiculous amount of pillows. The waterfall shower was huge and felt great. The sink area was nice and spacious too. Floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall windows overlooking Phoenix was a classy touch. Plenty of closet space. Furniture (other than the bed) was dated. But, plenty of sitting area for people or belongings.

RejuvenatingPosted Mar 31, 2014
Pros: I enjoyed the comfort and relaxing atmosphere in the middle of a downtown.
Cons: The pool area on Saturday afternoon was a little crowded with no empty tables or chairs. A few more could be added for comfort on busy afternoons.
Location: They had a map of different running routes around the hotel, the football and baseball stadiums are within a short walk, and ASU Downtown Campus
I took a last minute trip to visit a friend in Phoenix and enjoyed my hotel stay as well. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and quick to solve any question or concern. I was able to relax Saturday afternoon in the patio dining area drinking a beer and reading a book. I also enjoyed the workout facilities and the location was close to a lot of great restaurants and downtown activities. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a rejuvenating stay in Phoenix.

they put down expedía.Posted Mar 24, 2014
I had requested 2 queen beds when I booked in expedia. I stayed with my 2 sons. One of them slept in the couch (not a sofabed) and the other with me. that was not the plan. they said that since I had booked with expedía and not with them, and the hotel was full they gave it to other guest.

Very nice downtown hotel.Posted Mar 20, 2014
Location: Was within close walking distance to the AT&T Event Center.
They had complementary bottled water in lobby in the afternoon...perfect for Phoenix where you always need water when you come in from walking around.

Great location. Terrible parking.Posted Mar 17, 2014
Nice hotel, terrible parking. . . For this being a nice hotel, no parking garage?? Unless you're willing to pay $28/night for valet services and have your car parked in an uncovered lot, unprotected lot, definitely would choose Sheraton across the street who has guest parking available and pay probably less a night.

Great staff and bedsPosted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: Staff, beds, bar.
Cons: Valet parking is a bit tight, but well staffed.
Location: Close to conference center, restaurants, and public transportation.
Staff really makes this place great. Rooms are quiet and clean. Beds are one of the best hotel beds I have used.

Great Hotel, in the heart of it allPosted Mar 4, 2014
Pros: The location was prime!
Cons: The hours for the restaurant could stand to be lengthened a little longer, to compete with the surrounding restaurants.
Location: There is an outdoor shopping plaza nearby as well as many breakfast, lunch, and dinners spots!
I really enjoyed my weekend get away at this hotel. It is reasonably priced, based on the location. Many restaurants and nightlife venues are right within walking or a short cab ride away. The rooms are absolutely spacious and very modern.

Really good hotel in the center of PhoenixPosted Mar 4, 2014
Pros: Really helpful staff
Location: In the center of town with all the entertainments nearby i.e. Opera and other shows. Also well placed to visit Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West.
Service was excellent and the restaurant could not have been better. Staff were really helpful and put themselves out to meet our needs.

Well done, Westin Phoenix Downtown!Posted Feb 24, 2014
Although our stay was short (one night), each point of contact we had with their staff was very courteous and fast. What lovely smiles and sincere attitudes. The room was spacious (Queen Room), bright and well kept. The bed was really comfortable and we slept very well. Even after a 5 night vacation in Miraval Tucson (phenomanal 5 star resort) right before our stay at the Westin, this hotel property did not disappoint and was a perfect end to our short visit to Az.
