Another great Westin experience
Posted Jan 11, 2013
Pros: Large, comfortable, well-furnished rooms.
Cons: Awkward pool deck access, somewhat confusing corridor layout.
Location: Convenient to downtown, public transportation, and University access.
Staff were exceedingly friendly and responsive. When the AC in my room wouldn't work they had an engineer up to fix it in minutes. Beds are exceptionally comfortable. And as a reader I especially appreciate the chair, ottoman, and reading lamp in the corner.

NICE ROOM FOR THE MONEY
Posted Jan 11, 2013
Walking distance to almost everything downtown! Great views as well. Parking was a little on the spendy side ($28!) and a little disappointed with no free wifi - since that is pretty standard in even cheap hotels, but the room was gorgeous and will definitely stay here again.

ADA (Handicap accessible) Wow-Awesome! Great staff
Posted Jan 10, 2013
Pros: The ability for my husband to move around conveniently in his wheelchair
Cons: None.
Location: Perfect. It's less than 1/2 mile away from Chase Field. :)
We requested an ADA room and for the first time, the ADA room was what it should be, meeting all the ADA requirements. We truly enjoyed the stay there. All of the staff was very pleasant. Valet parking staff was very courteous and went out of their way to help us. Housekeeping staff was excellent and courteous as well. We will be back!

Great for a couple wanting to get away!

Pros: I loved the view & proximity to Chase Field.
Cons: I didn't like that there was no tub in my room, but the shower was awesome!
Location: Perfect if you're going to a D'Backs ,Suns or Mercury game.
We drove in from Tucson to catch a D'Backs game and didn't really want to drive home, so we decided to spend the night in Phoenix. When we got to the hotel, the staff was extremely helpful and seemed to take pride in their hotel. We were able to walk to the game and back and relax when we got back in the very comfortable bed. My husband even slept in until 9:30! That never happens! After we checked out in the heat of the day, we were given cold water to send us off on our trip back home.

Summer Vacation 2013
Posted Jan 8, 2013
Pros: Everything. The location was perfect for walking to different venues.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Traveling with a 7 year old, he wanted to go to the movies. Which was well within walking distance.
This was the first time staying and Phoenix, and I was sure glad we picked Westin. The staff were impeccable and the room was perfect! My 7 year old son raved about the room service breakfast. This was the perfect kickoff to our 7 day vacation adventure. I would highly recommend Westin Phoenix to anyone that is interested.

Gorgeous View

Pros: The staff
Cons: Directions to the elevator
Location: Great location, train station right across the street
This hotel was amazing from easy check in to 24hr gift shop, to the happy hour being from 11:30 to 5pm, including food. One of the best hotel's i've stayed at, can't wait to visit again.

Pros: Great view! Clean, comfortable room. Real crib for baby. Everyone's happy!
Location: We walked everywhere! Its pretty centralized.
The Westin was our last place to stay on our week long vacation. And after getting settled we thought to ourselves "this place makes me want to stay in Phoenix a little longer". The staff was great, from valet, to bags, to check in desk, everyone was so friendly and engaging. Our King Suite had a beautiful view of the city and beyond. And they actually had a real crib for our baby instead of a pack 'n play. Even the restaurant staff was great when we had lunch with our not so happy baby (at the time). I would love to stay here again, and for a longer period of time next time around.

Not bad

Pros: Very comfortable rooms
Cons: Service.
Location: Great location can walk everywhere
It was an outstanding hotel minus the staff. I could not believe that the customer service could be so poor. Grades for the service departments are as follows. Front desk (A), Valet (A+), House Keeping (C), Bar and restaurant (F), Security (A). Had a GREAT time in Phoenix just don't expect great service from the Bar and grill. The cookie that the kids had was comped because it took an hour to get but it was the BEST cookie ever.
