Nice hotel, smokey casino

Posted Oct 1, 2014
Hotel staff were great, room very clean and bed comfortable. Great outlet mall by property, lots of restaurants within a couple of miles. Casino has terrible ventilation and is very smokey. Property isn't kid friendly but great for adult get away.

Nice hotel and Casino near Phoenix

Posted Sep 15, 2014
The hotel was much nicer and cleaner than I expected. It was one of the nicer hotels that I have stayed at for under $100.

Nice comfortable room.

Cons: Staff at front desk.
Staff at the front desk check-in are not very friendly. I had the same woman the last two times I stayed and she was rude.

Nice room, but lacking some amenities

Posted Aug 23, 2014
Pros: Warm, friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms and pool. Proximity of casino and restaurants.
Cons: Add mini-fridge and blow-dryers to rooms, clean grout in showers better.
First: plan on using valet parking. Hotel self-parking lot is always full, so you will have a LONG walk to get inside while hauling your luggage. The valet staff, bellman, and front desk staff were wonderful, though. Room was very clean, though lacking some basic amenities like a mini-fridge or blow-dryer. No coin-op laundry service, though a pricey per-item laundry service is available. Vending machines offer drinks only. Maid service was prompt and thorough each day of my stay. It was nice to have the casino right downstairs, instead of having to leave the hotel to go play, though the table games had fairly high minimums to play on a Sunday night at 11:30pm ($10/hand for blackjack, $15/hand for 3-card poker, $25/hand for Spanish 21 & $50/hand for Fortune Paigow). There are eight listed "restaurants" on the casino floor...but in reality, there are three restaurants: Shula's is a VERY high-priced steakhouse, Ling & Louie's has medium-priced Chinese food, and Cafe 24/7 has All-American fare for a very reasonable price. The other five places to eat are all located in the casino's food court. There are also 4 lounges/nightclubs listed in the literature, though I did not visit them. The large pool and hot-tub outside were well-maintained, though extended hours beyond 9pm would have been appreciated, given how hot it was into the evening. Overall, my 3-day stay was a very pleasant experience, made more-so by the helpful attitudes of the staff

Business travel

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Comfortable room
Cons: Separate business vs casino travelers
The room was clean and very comfortable. Had desk adequate for computer work. Unfortunately the group next door was there to use the casino and were loud and in and out of their room until early morning - disturbing even with ear plugs in. Would recommend asking for room away from other partying guests.

Clean affordable place to stay!

Our stay was great. However, it took more time to check us in than it should have. The only person working the desk was on the phone. I think she was taking reservations but I feel peoople in line should have priority.
