Nice hotel in convenient location

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: Very clean, with a friendly and helpful staff.
This was a very nice hotel in a good location for the business trip I was on. It would also be great for anyone who is there on vacation as there are a lot of cool historical destinations near there.

Large comfy rooms

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Large rooms
Cons: Breakfast could be extended until 10:30
Location: Easy access to wonderful downtown Phoenixville with movies, many bars, and great restaurants.
We were delighted with the large room layout. It was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Bigger than some apartments haha! Very friendly staff.

Very average hotel. The free breakfast was what you would expect for free. The staff was nice but not overly friendly. I would stay again when I am in the area.

Very Disappointing!

Posted Jun 27, 2014
Pros: Rooms were clean.
Cons: Desk clerk should be more conscientious and honest and just admit that he didn't notice the notes. There was no reason to lie.
I requested 2 rooms. Both on the 1st floor b/c my mom is 82 yrs old, on a walker and afraid of elevators. I asked for the rooms to be next to each other so my sister could help take care of mom. We were on the 2nd floor in 206 and she in 216 down the hall. When we asked the desk clerk about this he said there were no comments in our reservation. I asked for a manager and he said he would be in 1st thing tomorrow morning. The next day another clerk said the mgr. wasn't in but he looked on the computer and said "yes the note states you want 1st floor and adjoining rooms." So the night clerk lied. The took my name and phone no. and promised a manager would call me and of course they never did. This will be the last time I stay at any Hampton Inn and will never recommend it, and we travel a lot. This is the 1st time we ever were disappointed in a hotel. This was very poor service!

Nice hotel - easily accessible

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: Able to walk to restaurants - not always something you can do in the US
Nice hotel, very clean with friendly staff. Complementary 'light dinner' on some nights of the week, not all.

Convenient to Valley Forge and Collegeville PA

Posted May 18, 2014
Pros: We rented a suite for ourselves and our 17-year-old daughter; suite had two rooms, tv in each room, large bathroom, up on the 4th floor (quiet).
Cons: Cable channels only had C.N.N., Fox and MSNBC for news. Would have appreciated Al Jazeera, too, since the former are essentially for entertainment.
Several extended family members booked reservations here while attending a memorial service for our aunt in nearby Collegeville, PA. Our rooms were excellent (quiet and spacious), the on-site breakfast bar was great (a wide variety of options, including several healthy choices), and nearby restaurants (i.e. Uno's, across the street) was fine for the meal which ended our weekend in the area.

Good value, fairly close to Philly.

Posted May 15, 2014
Pros: Price
Cons: staff
Location: valley forge
We felt like we had a good value at a fairly well maintained motel. The staff seemed a little overwhelmed when occupancy was high. The room was not serviced on our last full day. We had to see the desk and wait for towels to be laundered before we could shower.

Bad Choice

Posted May 7, 2014
Pros: we stayed here before and it was much better then
Cons: fix elevator bell when King Bed was reserved and pre paid for over a month in advance we should have got one but we got two double beds instead
elevator bell was way too loud. very noisy rooms, you can hear all noise out in hall
