We were given a room, 304 on 19 Dec 2013. Don't even take it if you were given it. First, the shower is just trickles of water alternating from HOT to COLD in few secs. Second, the bed creaked so loudly at every move although I'm a light weight lady. I brought to the attention of the counter staff, she straightaway said NO change!
On 20 Dec, I had to go to the lobby to use the wifi as there is no wifi in the room to write to Expedia. I left it as that and went out to do my tours. When we came back in the night, we suddenly got a call from reception to ask if we wanted to change room. I was struggling to shower w the hot and cold water while my husband answered the call. We were immediately changed to the another room in the newer block at 2211. It was a much better functioning room, with proper shower and non-creaking bed. It was also more spacious and has a balcony to the pool.
Every time when we need anything, the staff can't understand a word we say, and everything was left unattended to. So it's no point talking to them. They don't understand English.
On the last day of checkout, we went to the reception extra early thinking we needed ample time to go to the airport more than 3 hrs in advance. However, we were stuck at the reception for more than half an hour, trying to explain to them we didn't attend their Gala Dinner on 24 Dec, as we saw there was a billing in our bill. There was no way we cud talk to them, wasting us so much time in checking out!!
