NOT even a 3 star Hotel

Posted Mar 25, 2014
Pros: The hotel was private and very secluded and near the airport. They did provide several golf carts when you needed them.
Cons: Clean all the swimming pools weekly, improve the beach and breakfast. Having a show twice per week would be nice.
Location: We went to Fanta Sea, it was a great show. We also went Scuba diving.
The hotel was near the airport but very far from everything else. You either needed a taxi or private car. The hotel provided one free shuttle daily to Patong Beach, but it took almost an hour each way. ALL the swimming pools had green slime all over and looked like it had not been cleaned in months. The beach was terrible, low tide too the water out more than 200 meters. Breakfast was not very good and all the rooms were so far from the lobby that you needed a golf cart each time or had to walk a long distance.

Beautiful hotel, secluded, away from tourists.

Posted Mar 23, 2014
Pros: Location, though far to travel to Phuket town and Patong, this was the appeal of this hotel. Travel to attractions wasn't that expensive either.
Location: Naiyang beach is nearby with restaurants, shops, etc. There is a local market 3 times a week with an amazing array of clothes, shoes and food.
Beautiful hotel and staff, great service, room with pool access was perfect. Apparently has been bought out though, so will shut down in the next couple of months and reopen in 12 months time, shame.

Nice hotel close to the airport

Posted Mar 1, 2014
Pros: Imperial Spa, located on Nai Yang beach which is quiet and very nice, the restaurant in front of the beach provides a chilled out setting at night
Cons: The pool in the pool access rooms could be cleaner. An additional afternoon shuttle to somewhere more happening would have been great!
Location: There was not much to do around as the hotel is located on a quiet beach. At night there is nothing to do at your doorstep unless you venture out.
We stayed at this hotel a couple of days before flying out of Phuket as we had some things we needed to do around that side of Phuket. The resort itself if very nice, the staff are friendly, the beds comfortable and breakfast buffet was nice as well. Overall, this was a great stay.

Five Star Hotel with beautiful pool area.

Posted Feb 26, 2014
Beautiful hotel with large rooms and large balcony with couch to relax on. Good food at restaurant by the pool. Extremely friendly staff. Wished we had stayed longer! Quiet area away from main tourist area and close to airport. I hope this area doesn't get developed.

Nice hotel - reception staff not great

Posted Feb 26, 2014
Pros: The close proximity to the beach and a local town.
Cons: The reception staff.
Location: Location is right on the beach. If you walk 5 minutes along the beach to Nai Yang beach it's filled with beach bars and a small town for some shoppin
The rooms were lovely and the resort is very close to the beach. When we arrived the reception staff were rude and not helpful at all. They didn't advise where the beach was, that there was a whole office to book tours and that there was a town 5 minutes walk away... we had to find it all out ourselves. The cleaning, bag handling and restaurant staff were pleasant and helpful.

A wonderful hotel in a quiet beachside location.

Posted Feb 9, 2014
Pros: Direct pool-access rooms. Decent gym. Quiet location/empty beaches. Very clean/pleasant hotel surroundings.
Cons: The restaurant/beach bar food was limited and expensive.
Location: A nice quiet location. Bang Pae waterfall and forest are close by. The drive to Phuket Town or Patong takes quite a long time due to traffic.
We had a pool-access suite. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The pool access was a real plus, especially as we were at the end of feeder pool. It was like having a private pool. The hotel grounds were lovely with tropical gardens, lily ponds (complete with frogs and fish) and other water features. The area was quiet, with virtually empty beaches. The village of Nai Yang beach was a short walk along the beach. Here the restaurants were half the price of the hotel. The only problem was crossing the stream at high tide. Muay Thai boxing training is available in Nai Yang with former world champion Jomhod Kiatadisak. A walk to the left of the hotel through the forest leads to several empty beaches.

Great stay

Posted Jan 29, 2014
Pros: location, internet speed, big nice clean room, view,
Cons: - rooms were cleaned on the daily basis, we have left towels on the rack, yet they were all changed next day and then day after again, it was unnecess
Very nice and clean hotel, slightly away from other resorts ,which is great. 10min away from the airport we stayed there for 3 nights after 2 weeks traveling in Thailand. We had breakfast included, and it was good. - there is no way to order any other taxi then one from the hotel ! 400B to the airport, we tried to get taxi from the beach area, but as soon as we said where we staying , taxi driver told us to take one from the hotel.. i asked hotel staff to order metered taxi, but we have been told that is not possible..

Isolated beach resort

Posted Jan 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
Great if you want to maroon yourself in a quieter, but not entirely personal, resort environment. The rooms are flawless, the pool area is large and it's often empty tributaries span around the exterior of the building which is a nice touch. The quiet end of Nai Yang beach is directly accessible from the lounging area by the pool, but expect to walk out about 100m when the tide is out. It's very shallow and not good for swimming. Clever use of architecture and landscaping make the whole place feel more intimate considering it probably hosts 100+ rooms. The food is OK and the facilities excellent, but if you are keen on seeing the sights you can't really wander anywhere yourself. The resort is at the end of a fairly long road leading to the main road itself. We didn't see any town nearby but we're only there for 1 night as we chose it due to the excellent proximity to the airport. I probably wouldn't stay here again, but not for any fault of the resort itself. It's just not for me and would have preferred something smaller.

Very close to airport

Posted Jan 19, 2014
Pros: Beautiful swimming pools and facilities and very professional staff. Golf buggies that take you to your room :)
Cons: Nothing it was fantastic.
Location: It was very close to the airport but a long way away from Patong and the clubs etc so if you want those stay closer in.Beautiful and serene here.
Beautiful self contained resort away from the hustle and bustle of Patong Beach/ all the action and nice and close to the airport. Staff were very attentive and the breakfast buffet was amazing too.
