I have never, in all my travels around the globe, have ever been to a hotel/resort and haven't found something that couldn't have been improved... To some point anyway.
I must say, I have finally found a place that was breathtaking in every way.... We are already in the process of organizing to return the same time next year... Absolutely loved it!

This hotel may have saved my wife's life. After two nights in Patong, which has a perfunctory beach, dilapidated main drag, and no charm whatsoever, our vacation in Phuket seemed doomed to be wholly unpleasant. Luckily, a last minute booking at Point Yamu during their soft opening transported us to another plane of existence. Every aspect of this hotel is carefully designed to provide a beautiful and relaxing experience for guests. I appreciated the luxurious yet soothing combination of clean modern blue-grey design, reflecting pools, botanicals, plush fabrics, and natural wood/rattan textures throughout the property. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and accommodating in a genuine way, a number of pool options are available, and services/food are generally reasonably priced. The private beach, accessible by longboat, was perfect for a secluded relaxing day in the sun. Fun extras like a cart for bespoke liquid nitrogen ice cream reinforce the feeling that you're experiencing something really special while staying here. Room rates are amongst the highest in Phuket, but it's worth it.

It was a great experience, luxury living, comfortable and great location. Some appliances didn't work very well, but these things happen. Overall we were very happy and will definitely be back. The manager, Michael is always available and very helpful.

The tag line of Thanyapura is "train in Paradise" so as a sports fanatic I was coming to thanyapura with high expectations. The experience we had over there was absolutely fantastic. Thanyapura is like a hidden paradise for sports fanatic. It offers world-class sports facilities and you feel inspired training amongst professional athletes but you can also enjoy the very peaceful environment of the place. My girlfriend is not Sport mad like me but still, she didn't want to leave neither.
Besides the wow sport factor, the services was great, the food at Divine restaurant was amazing and the Sport Hotel was very enjoyable. Also, the place was not packed so we really felt like being in a world-class exclusive country club.
Prices are higher than the typical Thai resort however it's totally reasonable for the level of experience you will get. We can't wait to go back there and hopefully for longer this time...

A great place to chill out, relax and indulge. The food was amazing and the surroundings we're so relaxing. The hotel offered lots of little touches that helped make our stay such as incense sticks, complimentary sprays, beach bag etc. We stayed four nights and also enjoyed a massage by the pool, really lived it and would definitely recommend it!
