Nice Hotel And Good Location.

Posted Jul 29, 2014
During check in the counter staffs recommend a suite with personal swimming pool with top up about $150 per night but we did not accept and than they found out that we booked the room through expedia they do not allow us to change the room, the room they given to us is on the other wing and very right to the end and the aircon is not working. In the end we have to request change of room in the middle of the night. The hotel and location are fine.

Amazing location

Posted Jul 5, 2014
Great location. Hotel is joined onto the Jungceylon Shopping Mall and is right on the door step of Bangla Road and is extremely close to the beach (if you are staying at the beachside wing). Buffet Breakfast was amazing and was able to burn off some of the breakfast calories at their gym - was impressed with the gym facilities for a hotel. We were very happy with the size of the room too.

Totally Rest & Relax

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: The location, the cabana room.
Cons: Shd have a link way from the Cabana room to the Spa which is juz next door
Location: Shop and dine at Jungceylon, which is just a stone's throw away. Go Elephant ride. Remember to go to the Night market which open only on Sat and Sun.
I go to Phuket almost every year, stay in different hotels. This was the first time I stay with Millennium Resort Phuket and it was wonderful ! I absolutely loved the Cabana Room. I have booked two Cabana Room and stayed there for 5 days. The jacuzzi and swimming pool was juz right outside the room, so easy to access for a dip. Fantastic! Our rooms were juz next to the Essential Spa, but got to walk a big round to enter the spa though. What a waste of time. The hotel should hv a link easy to go to the spa if staying in Cabana room. Breakfast in the hotel was good but the restaurant was closed for air-con upgrading after our 2nd day, so we had our breakfast in the ballroom. Overall, the experience was great staying in Millennium Resort. Hope to return soon to this hotel if their price is not so expensive :)

Primo Location...The best

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: Definitely Location
Cons: Periodically you get the smell of smoke come through the air conditioning unit.
Location: In the mall Bangla road 2 mins beach 5 min walk Roadside bargaining
Totally recommend this hotel, it is located in the Jungceylon mall, excellent for late night shopping. & dining. 2minute walk to Bangla Road. The breakfast was repetitive...could of had more variety. We stayed in Beachside...the room was clean, air con was beautifully cold, the staff were friendly, the pool was lovely. & not overcrowded. Whilst right in the middle of patong action, our room on the 4th floor was away from the noise. Didnt need a tuk tuk , everything was within walking distance & I hate walking far....

Super convenient hotel in the centre or Patong

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: We liked the proximity to the shopping centre and to the nightlife, restaurants etc.
Cons: Not a lot. However, to me the hotel felt a little clinical. Something like the way a budget airport hotel feels...
Location: Situated above Jungceylon and across from Bangla Road, it's perfectly situated for those looking for minimal walking, tuk tuks etc.
We had my mother travel with us this time so we opted to stay in what was advertised as a "5 star" resort, close to Jungceylon and somewhere that did not require a lot of walking in in the heat to get around during the day. The Millennium was naturally the best choice for us because it is literally a part of the shopping centre, where she could roam while we recovered in our room from the previous night haha. I was impressed with the courteous staff and the cleanliness of the hotel and our rooms at all times. Breakfast was particularly tasty with a mix of western food and thai cuisine to suit all tastes. We were in the beachside wing of the hotel and I had heard of people complaining about noise at night time coming from Bangla road... While this is true, there is some noise, it is minimal and certainly nothing that kept me awake or irritated me. It was almost like. Bangla was softly calling me out of my room to play! The one thing that I couldn't get my head around was the smell in the lobby... It was particularly pungent on some occasions and downright nasty on others... I am sensitive to some things so I chalked it up to that, but my wife also commented on the same thing... I was only ever in the lobby fleetingly so it was never enough to upset me. I just couldn't figure out where it was coming from. To me this hotel is 4 star at best. So should we visit Patong again I think we will stay elsewhere, purely for bang for your buck, of which the Millennium is lacking.

Location: Direct entrance to Jung Ceylon shopping mall which was quite handy as I visited in the rainy season.
Rooms ample proportion and kept very clean. Staff very friendly and nothing was a problem for them. Excellent pool and gym facilities.
