Nice hotel with nice view

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Nice hotel with nice and pleasant staff, very helpful and willing to resolve ur problems. But be careful when u hire a taxi from airport and some travel agents, they like to cheat people. Better go through Novotel for airport transfer and site seeing and move around.yes being on hillside, think before u book this hotel if u Hv small kids or elders with u. However hotel staff will help u by providing transport internally also.

Pros: The Swimming Pool was amazing and great too relax after a big day of shopping. They have a great variety of food to order without moving and affordable
Cons: The Resort has everything I cannot find anything that has to be Improved.
Location: Shops are close by,try the seafood restaurant across the road the food is amazing and very affordable.
The Hotel was beautiful, staff were very friendly and helpful. The Resort offers a free bus shuttle to the shopping centre and they also pick up you up from the shopping centre and drop you off to the resort once you have finished from shopping.Close to the shops and restaurants close by.

Pros: The friendly staff, location and facilities.
Cons: Some of the decor of the room was looking tired and the bed linens were wearing thin.
Location: Set high on a hill, but there is a shuttle service from the road up to reception. Quiet location, with hotel bus service into town.
Returned for a four day visit. Last here two years ago. The staff had made the connection that we had stayed before and gave us a complimentary basket of fruit for the room. Bathrooms had been updated since out last visit, the bath had been replaced with a walk in shower with a view into the main part of the room, although there was a blind that could be pulled down for more privacy. We had an ocean view room a short walk from reception, very quiet, no road noise. Huge bed with robes and slippers provided. The room has a small fridge, with space to put extra drinks in, tea and coffee facilities and two complimentary bottles of water a day. We had a package with breakfast and wifi included. Wifi a bit flaky, especially in stormy weather, and an occasional power cut, again during a storm, but it was quickly restored. Wide variety of food available at breakfast, something for most nationalities. I tried the batik painting one day and on another we did a Thai cooking course, lots of activities for everyone and there is a spa on site, which although we didn't try other guests did, and they were pleased with the service, I would visit this hotel again.

It's a nice hotel with good pool and gym facility

Hotel staff were very friendly. However, food wasn't great. Seven of us had Dinner at Old Fisherman's restaurant and 3 of us wanted to return the food. Rooms were cleaned but bar was never replenished and they sometimes left begins old bed sheets.

Pros: quiet yet a stones throw from the activities..
Cons: refurbish and renew
Location: eat, sleep, drink and be happy
very pleasant, despite the age of the property, well maintained. Rooms by the tennis court need better accessibility

Nice view and location is great.

We went there for vacation and we were happy that we chose Novotel. Only one thing that we think it would improve our good experience here is the breakfast. I think it should have more varieties of Asian food especially Thai food. We stayed for 3 nights and by the 2nd morning we run out of ideas what to choose for the breakfast. Other than that, it's great.

Good family hotel close to the beach

Posted May 6, 2014
Had a great stay, good location close enough to the action but far enough away to be peaceful and relaxing. Up the quiter end of patong beach. Staff were great, nothing was too much of a trouble. Bar could have been open abit longer though. Awesome views and kids loved the 3 pools

Nice Hotel, Friendly staff, great location

We like this hotel , staff super friendly , got bunk bed for kids that was great, free shuttle bus to beach and Jungcelone, need more frequency in the evening, had little trouble with break fast inclusion in my room, initially staff was adamant that break fast is not inclusive even though I shown them my booking in my phone state clearly that break fast is inclusive , they forced me to sign the bill, later on once spoke to reservations they waived the bill but overall poor communication and problem solving by restaurant staff.Nice break fast and great variety , kids enjoyed swimming pool , except walk back to room , too steep for kids on a hot day, however shuttle buses can drop you on request for free.

Nice hotel, not for family.

Posted Mar 4, 2014
Pros: Rooms were very nice and the staff were very friendly.
Cons: The bed was very hard and uncomfortable, and the food was very average.
Location: not too close to the busy streets, yet still close to the action.
Staff were great and the views were beautiful. A lot of stairs to climb, fine for a couple but a bit difficult with 3 young kids in tow.
