Really enjoyed my time at the property. Spent most time away exploring Phuket. Would only mention that Mosquitos are extremely prevalent. I got bit many many times on just my first day staying there. However, the property does work to provide mosquito deterrents. Overall great stay.

We fumigate the whole property at least thrice a month, have flowing water and put chemicals in non-flowing water to prevent larvae, however, it is an ongoing issue that we are always trying to improve on. Beautiful property and gorgeous at night.Pool was fantastic Room service was exceptional.Shower was absolutely amazing with that one of a kind 10foot tall rain head. Only complaint was Smoking area should not be, beside the childrens play area.It’s in the same room!!! Let people smoke on their private balconies where it’s discreet and private.You need a smoking area beside the bar somewhere also. People are spending money all day drinking at your bar and want to smoke near their drinks.Everywhere in Thailand that we vacationed at, you can smoke on your balconies, at the pool bar and in all open air restaurants except your resort.

This property is beautiful. We stayed in their 2 story village with a walk out private pool for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. It was clean and the staff was incredibly kind. This location was walkable to both Kata and Karon beach with shops and restaurants on the way.

Hidden gem in the middle of town. Day staff were very friendly and welcoming. At night the property comes alive; everything is beautifully lit up. Beware of taking pictures of the property in the evening. We unfortunately were questioned by staff asking if we were guests and why we were taking pictures…..apparently the security guard was “watching us.”

Hi Laura, thank you for staying at the hotel and for your review. I'm sorry to hear about your experience regarding taking picture. In the past we've had cases of non-guests pretending to be guests at the hotel and even trying to get into a room. We want to prevent that happening and bothering our guests so we try to be as vigilant as we can. It seems that it backfired in this situation - I will discuss this feedback with management to see what we can do to prevent this situation from occurring again. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

The grounds of the property are very unique and pretty! Rooms were quiet and very pretty. The location was perfect! It was close to a scooter rental, massage spas and good food and the night street market! Would highly recommend!!

We stayed before because Expedia recommended it. I stayed again this year and had an experience like taking a magical journey in a fairy tale world. The building has fantastic architecture. The service is very good. All employees are friendly, courteous and hardworking. Cleanliness is very good. There are many different restaurants and markets nearby. You can reach Kata beach by walking in 8 - 10 minutes.

Everything about this hotel was 10/10. From the breath-taking ambiance, to the super friendly and helpful staff, wrap around pool, convenient location and easy taxi service, and the wonderful free breakfast. The location is prime if you’re looking to party. I cant recommend this hotel enough.

The design of the long pool was quite memorable. Great breakfast buffet. The street it's perched on isn't the most picturesque but the property is relatively close to the beach. Staff friendliness was also great, we felt very welcome. The bed was quite comfortable. Certain features in the room could be improved (e.g. semi-transparent glass between toilet and bedroom, some loose fittings, wallpapers taken from low resolution images etc).

Exquisite artwork. But the rooms do have a sight sewer smell. Staff placed an air purifier in my room which was loud I had to turn it off at night. The air conditioner does take a while for it to cool down but still feels muggy. Comfy bed. Wish the bathrooms were a little brighter and not so dark. The breakfast was good but would be better if it was in a closed room with air conditioning. I wish the smoking area was elsewhere rather than by the gym or walk to my room. There’s no ventilation. It’s a beautiful place to experience just once. But I would stay elsewhere next time.

Our favorite hotel we stayed at during our 3 week tour of Thailand. We have been all over the world and this hotel is the most unique, authentic, beautiful stay we’ve had. We had a Baray Villa which was fabulous. Be aware there are many mosquitoes, in and around Thailand.

Property does not look special on arrival but as soon as you walk in you start to see a beautiful and traditional Thai property. Lovely touches everywhere especially water features. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Hotel spotless. Food quality and range was very good. The lighting in the pool was a great touch along with some.lovely greenery and flowers. Easy access to town and local restaurants and bars. The airport transfer at 1k baht was also very good.

We had a wonderful stay. The service received from the entire staff was outstanding which wonderfully complimented the beautiful and unique facilities of the entire village and resort. Highly recommend this property in Kata Beach.

We had a great stay here. The property is beautiful - so artful! The pools were nice as were the rooms. The bed was HUGE and very comfortable with good pillows. AC worked super well, too. The staff was great. We went out on a tour super early our last day there and they let us keep our bags there. When we returned they were kind enough to let us sit by the pool for a bit to kill time before our flight out. All in all a great stay!

Loved everything about this property! As soon as you walk past the sign out front, you are transformed into another world. Beautiful, relaxing and visually stunning. We stayed in a Villa and couldn't be more impressed. I have nothing negative to say about Sawasdee Village or their fine staff. We had breakfast every morning and it took was great. Well worth the money!
