“Complete Relaxation”

Beautifully designed hotel and very exclusive. VIP treatment as it was only half full due to recent opening (1 week). Staff very friendly and helpful. Worth the upgrade when we got there and the seaview suite was fantastic. Serenity rooms garden facing would have been very disappointing though - so don't scrimp! Hire a car - as staff keen to use their limo service (min 3 hours) and not call taxis for you.

“Best hotel ever!”

I can not rave enough about this hotel. The hotel itself is beyond beautiful. The staff there made my friend and I feel like movie stars (we were treated that way). The location is away from all of the other hotels so you really get that "alone on an island" feeling. Yet it is close enough to everything that we wanted to visit too. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. My friend and I hadn't even left the hotel and we were already talking about our return visit. Thank you Outrigger!

“OUTSTANING DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE”

Want to head to Thailand? Want a 5 star hotel dont want to pay inflated prices? The outrigger was fantastic. I contacted the hotel and advised them I was bringing the girlfriend to thailand to 'pop the question'. In the 3 weeks prior to arrival, i recieved emails from the General Manager, Head Chef and Reception Manager. They all wanted to make sure that our visit was prepared. The hotel arranged all out trips and instead of joining group tours we used the hotel driver and SUV to take us privately around Phuket. You can't beat local knowledge. Doing it this way was actually cheaper. We asked for the 'right' places to eat, get a massage and shop and he took us there. The driver was 'Wat' so if you're there ask for him. The night i proposed was fantastic. They took me and my girl to a private beach by speedboat to watch the sunset and it was all good (She said yes). We arrived back by speedboat to a private dinner setting. I could go on ALL day.....the hotel was great. There are a selection of rooms, apartments. Service was fantastic and it was located away from all the noise. Its the place for total relaxation, recharge the batteries definitely a great place to take your girlfriend if you want To pop that question!

“Pampered elegance---perfect romantic setting!!!”

When choosing a location for a quiet, romantic getaway look no further. Excellent service, beautiful rooms and amenities, and a truly relaxing location away from the hustle and bustle (but only a short cab ride away from Phuket Town or Patong if you like crowds!) The location is perfect for swimming in the warm sea, lounging by the perfect size/temperature pool, and enjoying Phuket. The staff pamper you at the restaurant, pool, bar, and will arrange any activities you wish to enjoy. The breakfast buffet was healthy and delicious. Highly recommend the french toast! We will be bringing the whole family back soon!

“Great Phuket hotel for couples”

the hotel was fabulous, from the decor to the staff service, the value for money was excellent. the room was perfect. the only negative thing I have is that the website exaggerates how close the hotel is to other parts of Phuket, meaning longer and more expensive taxi rides than anticipated. given its rather remote location it would also be beneficial to have some slightly cheaper options for food/drink poolside, the prices are rather high given that you have to eat there multiple times, and the menu rather small so if you stay at the hotel on a 10 day stay you grow tired of the choices. overall, great value for money.

“Private and Peaceful”

This was a wonderful place to stay. If privacy and restoration are what you are looking for, it is here. I would recommend that if you are a couple, to stay at the penthouse with the infinity private pool. No distractions but full on focus on the bay. The kitchen is well stocked with any drink or craving you might need. It is completely worth it even if you are traveling alone. The hotel gift shop is not up and running yet. So plan to go into town to make a few buys if you wish. However, there is a 7/11 straight across the street good for any last minute buys (like sunscreen). The management said the shop hopefully will be open in a couple of months. Enjoy.

“The Best of Phuket”

On arrival I was was upgraded to a suite, which was really nice. The staff there are great. Very helpful and friendly. The room was beautiful. It was definitely the best hotel I stayed in while I was in Thailand (I stayed at 4 different resorts). I especially loved the balcony. The pool and beach area is a great hang out spot. This resort was my favorite thing is Phuket.

“Best 5 Start Hotel in Thailand”

The service at this hotel was superb; all employees were ready to please. The accommodations were beyond my expectation; brand new rooms with every imaginable amenity. Finding a true 5 start hotel (by American standards) is not easy; this hotel is a True 5 Star. What impressed me the most was the hotel restaurant. Unbelievable food at unexpected prices. Also, the in-room snacks & drinks were quite reasonable. Lastly, the location of this hotel make it the best hotel in Phuket. Outrigger is NOT it the busy touristy Patong Beach; it is in a very quite area between Rawai & Chalong. Chalong (5 min drive) is where all the boats (Diving, Fishing, site seeting) leave out of, while Rawai is a small fishing town where the Sea Gypsies live.

“Outrigger”

This hotel is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Its a new hotel located on the Chalong Bay and has spectacular views. My boyfriend and I lucked out by getting a 2 bedroom suite (they were still working on rooms, but the suites that were overlooking the bay were done). The staff is wonderful and very informative. The hotel room was 5 star all the way!! I couldn't have picked a better hotel. The only drawback was that the hotel is located in a part of Phuket in which once you leave the hotel, there is nothing to do around. You will need to hire a taxi to do touristy things like shopping or going to restaurants outside of the hotel. If you are looking for a hotel where its away from tourist and you just want to relax this is the place for you. But if you want to be around a little bit of action I would recommend staying at a hotel near Karon or Katai beach. And if you want a lot of action stay in Patong. But overall this hotel is FABULOUS.

“Looking for R & R, this is the place!”

Outrigger was amazingly peaceful and the staff were highly helpful. My wife and I at first glimpse of the hotel on arrival knew we'd have a pleasant time here. The hotel is somewhat away from most other resorts and it fairly new. When I arrived at the airport many taxi drivers didn't know exactly where the resort was, but we managed to find it with no problems. Just keep in mind since the hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of other resorts and tourist areas you have to taxi to those areas which wasn't really a problem since just outside the hotel gates there is a waiting taxi service (recommend renting a car). Across the street you'd find a 7-eleven and laundry service if your looking to save a few baht. Great local chicken soup across the street at the street vendor if your adventurous. We found the area of the hotel to be safe and everyone is very nice, from hotel staff to the local people. The rooms we clean and the showers are great.
