Very rude unprofessional receptionist. Hotel is run down, very simple room, practically no breakfast. Its not 3* at all. Hemminguay hotels closer to everything and way better than 3*. This one is just nothing. Absolutely no sense to stay here. No.

You know what your getting, a good moderately appointed hotel. Close to the beach, with friendly staff that are helpful. The rooms are well priced and kept clean, it's not 5star but a very pleasant stay close to the beach in Patong far enough away from the madness to get a good nights sleep.

Decided to stay here this time round rather than my usual Aspery Hotel. The hotel is of an okay size (smaller than aspery), and the ensuite bath was rather small. The part that made me felt unsafe was that my balcony was accessible from that level's corridor too (Room 405). I always have to double check and ensure the balcony door was locked, curtains are drawn so nobody can peep inside. The hotel is nice in general, with free continental breakfast from 7-11am at the lobby and you can make free coffee/tea and some snacks the whole day too (till 11pm i think). However, the staff wasn't the most friendly staff i've seen in thailand. It was a good stay in general, but i'll probably revert back to Aspery in the future.

Reasonably priced place near heart of Patong BeachPosted May 21, 2014
Pros: Not too close to Patong party area, but close enough to be walking distance from it
Cons: Hire someone else who wants to work rather than who wants to play with computer during his shift
Location: Conveniently located but little noisy due to traffic noise.
Couple of female staff were very friendly but there is a male staff who works night shift that are very rude and only interested in playing computer games instead of taking care of staff. As for room, the picture looks a lot nicer than actual room itself.

Pros: Tourist information booth right outside the hotel, who are really helpful at booking taxis, ferries etc.
Cons: The breakfast area: Turned into a no smoking area and the food better protected from flies etc.
This hotel is well located in Patong, with only a 5 minute walk from the beach. Our room was a deluxe room, which didn’t really sell itself as deluxe but certainly performed its role of providing a comfortable bed for the night with sufficient facilities. Night time traffic can be quite noisy and the breakfast area sparks doubt due to food being left out on the side as guests help themselves to the basic, uncovered selection of breads, hams and cereals, so I would recommend getting their early whilst the food is fresher and still covered. For the price it is more than a sufficient place to stay but could only describe it as a luxury hostel rather than a hotel, with the luxury being your own room.

Location: In the center of Patong
I was a guest at your Album hotel from 22th March to 1st April, booked through expedia.com. This is to inform you about an incident happened in the night of 30-31 March with the receptionist. My room was booked through expedia and was paid for 2 adults, since Expedia does not differentiate the price between 1 and 2 adults for your rooms. Please, see the website at www.expedia.com (American version). However, the papers the hotel had from expedia showed the room as booked for 1 adult only. I explained this situation to the person at the reception, noting that I paid the price for 2 ADULTS and not just one. However, this person did not let my friend to visit me in the room asking me to pay 500BTH for "extra person". I offered him to call expedia and ask what room was actually booked for me, also show him the room category at the expedia website. The guy refused to listen to me and in impolite and even aggressive manner prohibited my friend to go to the room even for short period of time, saying that "this is a hotel policy". He did not give the phone number of the manager and told me that the manager was not there. Please be advised, thus, that the hotel did not provide the promised service I paid for, leaving out my friend on the street late in the night.
