Wonderful hotel with a wonderful staff of helpful, considerate Thai people. I highly recommend this place for its price, location and proximity to everything in Patong, and quality of guest services. Will stay there again next time I am in Patong. Excellent hotel!

Checkin person was not nice! They said that if i let my travel companion come up to see my room for just even one minute, they will charge me 500 Baht each time I let someone go up. This is a ridiculous rule. I told them that my friend has a hotel room down the block and did not need to stay with me. Plus I could have added a second person to my room without additional charge when I booked online… so why are they charging me. I told them that my friend and I are not having sex and that I am not bring up someone to have sex with and he said that does not matter. Definitely not staying here again. Plus, I saw a cockroach in the room!

Difficult review to write. On one hand, you have a very friendly staff, a good location, cute little pool, some nice ideas like the beach basket. On the other hand, very simple room, simple breakfast, extremely slow internet, poor tv signal….

This is NOT a 3.5 star hotel. The pictures were clearly staged using a clean and painted room with fresh linens, of which none of this was part of the experience in the room....it was quite the opposite. I wish TLocity would allow me to show pics that I took of the room. This is not the hotel depicted in the pictures. There are way better options, it’s Patong. Look around and save yourself the dissatisfaction of staying at this hotel.

Give it a go, especially for the price!
Only a block away from Bangla Road (the party capital of Phuket), this place is not a bad place to stay. While the pictures definitely make it look a lot nicer than it is, it is still a great for the price. The pool on the roof was nice, as was the bed which was comfortable! The wifi was a bit shaky at times as I had to switch from one to another, but it usually always got the job done, I was still able to stream a Netflix show before bed... The people who work here are very nice as well, and the place out front helped me to arrange my travel to my next destination!

Location is key
Convenient hotel close to beach and Bangla Road etc. The beds were a little hard and the AC a little warm but we managed ok just for 2 nights. Rooftop pool is not swim able as it’s not been cleaned. Many things should be repaired soon. Staff was amazing and breakfast was suitable. Nothing fancy but hit the spot. Recommended for short affordable stay.

Very nice stay, few minute walk to the beach. Loved how they gave a beach bag and mat for free. Hotel was affordable for those traveling. Breakfast was provided and had the essentials, especially for a vegetarian. Had salad eggs cereal and yogurt always available. Location is good for those wanting to be near PaTong beach and bar streets. It is noisy though so if you want quiet and serene this may not be the best place for you. I was able to sleep no problem. Water was provided every day too. Staff was pleasant and nice

Friendly staff and location is great. 6 min walk to the beach and 5 min walk to the main Street where all the action is happening. The room comes with free breakfast which was pretty basic but good. Also they supply you with beach towels and beach mat. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

The rooftop area is nothing like the photos - which is one of the main reasons we booked it. There are no lights around the rooftop or in the pool, furniture needs to be completely replaced. Most staff was friendly. It is a great location but didn't realize how very noisy all night it would be to try and sleep. The aircon barely worked and there was no tv service

Swimming pool was not in a usable condition, it was very bad. The air conditioning in our room was not working properly so it was really hot and stuffyfor all stay - really uncomfortable. Also there was no cable tv working at all. Apart from that was good. Good Location, close to the Beach and centre and shops.

Value for money
We had a pleasant stay. The hotel is well located; approx 5 min walk to Patong beach and Bangla road and about 10 min walk to Jungceylon mall. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Our room was on the 5th floor (lift in the hotel), had all the basic amenities, shower with warm water and working air conditioner. The hotel has a small rooftop swimming pool that was open until 19:00 in the evenings. A basic breakfast is included and coffee, tea and cookies provided in the hotel lobby at all times. Free wi-fi that worked well during our stay. The hotel provided us with an infant crib for our 10 month old at no extra charge.

Worth for money stay
It’s nearby to happening area and with great location. Im happy that they really look into details like prepared umbrella, beach use towels, beach basket and so on. The only thing is the swimming pool is super small and not that clean. Others was just nice.

Nice location! Close to beach, restaurants and shops. Room was dated but clean and price was very reasonable. I stayed there for 6 days but was not provided any amenity kit since checkin. Toilet mattress was never changed. They just turned it over on the third day. If the price remains the same, I will surely stay again.

I made a booking for a Deluxe room with 2 guests. Me and my partner arrived separately as we were coming to Patong from different places. At check in I was told that if we did not check in together there would be a 500 baht joiner fee even thought the booking was for 2 Adults. Also the hotels policy is that the Joiner fee does not include Breakfast. I protested and explained that my partner was coming in on a different flight a few hours later but the receptionist was indifferent. Eventually my partner arrived after the reception had changed shifts and we went up to the room only to be chased by the receptionist asking for the joiner fee. Next was the location of the room being on the first floor directly over the hotel entrance door where there was constant noise at all hours. I asked for a different room but they said no other deluxe rooms were available and I would have to downgrade rooms without any refund for the rate difference. I kept the room with the promise of moving to the 5th floor the next day. When I asked about the room change the next morning the new receptionist said he had not been told that i wanted to change rooms and that the hotel was full. I protested and eventually a room was available on the 4th floor but the road noise was the same even at the higher floor. The room was basic and small. The bathroom was not tiled but was just painted concrete which was peeling all over. The free Wifi was useless everywhere. Next time I will not stay at this hotel.

I stayed here because of the positive reviews. My experience was not as positive. I'm certainly not a hotel basher, but for me there were too many issues to make it a positive stay. My first room, the bed springs on one side of the bed were broken and you sink well into the mattress. The other side was good. I asked to change rooms and they did. The new room had poor shower pressure, the hot water took a few minutes to work and the air conditioner was not strong enough to cool the room. It took about 2 hrs to feel the air near the bed. The room was not cleaned on my last day. Although there is a sliding sign outside your door, anyone walking by can change the sign. Despite my key being at reception all day they did not clean the room as the indicator was set to 'do not disturb.' If you leave your room key with reception it is placed in a box with all the other keys. You could easily take another key if you wanted to enter a different room. The other reviews about distance to the beach, plunge pool, breakfast, etc are accurate. Maybe my experience was out of the norm, but regardless, I will not come back to this hotel.

Great stay!!!
We have a great stay here. Originally booked for 2 nights then decided on an extra 5 nights. Staff was outstanding, we received a free upgrade. Breakfast is included every morning, although the same, more than enough options to choose from. Very good location, near everything and beach. Each room receives a free beach mat and bag to use and ask reception for free beach towels. Overall great stay, would recommend for those who would like to be amongst it all and not to relax as next to busy street.

Nice stay with great location in Patong
Great stay! We booked for 2 nights and then decided to extend for an extra 5 nights. Location is great so plenty to do. Room was spacious and private, nice balcony with a view. Bed is a bit hard but still ok to sleep on. Super friendly staff and always willing to help out when needed. Breakfast is included, although the same everyday, there are plenty of options to choose from. Free coffee and tea with biscuits throughout the whole day. Highly recommended!

When our hotel booked through Expedia fell through, the Album were there to help us use their facilities while we negotiated another hotel online and by phone. Happily, we able to rebook to stay with the Album. The room was exactly as presented and cleaned spotlessly every day. The staff were really easygoing, helpful and friendly. There was a good continental style breakfast and coffee all day. We were able to hire mopeds from the kiosk on site for 200 baht/day, and book tours. It’s a no-frills hotel but had all we needed and was superbly located for Patong beach, the nightlife and shopping areas. And with bike hire on our doorstep we felt completely in touch.

Good taste design
The room was well designed with some good taste. They kept it really clean while I stayed there and the staff were always glad to help me. Because it is in the middle of everything traffic was a little too loud for me. After all it was the best hotel I have stayed in Thailand for this price.

The staff and hotel were fine. I just needed a frosty air condition that they couldn't provide. If you are not heat sensitive like me it would be a nice hotel. The air condition requirements are my quirk, otherwise I would still be there. The young man at reception did ALL he could to accommodate my request, showing me two different rooms .... It's my issue.. Not Theirs !

My fourth stay at the Album. Rooms cleaned daily and my bedding was changed frequently. Very polite and helpful staff at all times. For the price you pay including breakfast is excellent. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a small basic hotel, 5 mins from the beach and Bangla. See you again next year.

Beyond expectation
The location is good. Its along the main road in patong. The locals pronounce it as "the alabum" tell it to the taxi for better understanding or use your gps and you will not get lost in finding the hotel. The reception and all the staff are very helpful and smiling especially Ms. Na (not sure of her name) but thank you so much. She upgraded our room for free and when we decided to extend our stay, she advised us in cheapest way and she blocked our room so we dont need to transfer in other room. The breakfast are good and there's a free coffee or tea with cookies in the dining anytime you want for free of charge. The hotel is just 2 mins walk to the beach. They will provide you beach towels, umbrella, beach basket and mat for free. It was really a great comfort for the travellers. The rooms are clean with daily housekeeper to check what you need. I will highly recommend this hotel for budget travellers.
