Great Location
If you’re looking to spend most of your time at Patong beach, then this hotel is perfect for you. It is truly in the heart of the action, so be ready to party! In terms of the room itself, it was very average. The staff was helpful and in general acceptable for the price. Just note that they do not have a storage room for your bags, so we left ours behind the  counter which was probably not that safe.

Good location for Patong Beach within 10 minute walk & also located within 10 minutes walk of Bangla Nightlife strip. Pool is very small & they only have 3 sun beds, also the pool is covered in shade. Best to go to the beach during the day for some sun.

Consistently Good
I love this little hotel. This was the 4th time I've stayed there and it's been consistently good for a great price. The best thing about it is the staff, who I always find friendly and keen to help you enjoy your stay :-)

Great little hotel
Great little hotel for the price we paid. Right in the heart of Patong. Staff very pleasant. Rooms good size and very clean and comfortable. Only down side for me is the lack of storage and hanging space for clothes. Would certainly choose this hotel again.

This place is so unorganized and mismanaged that they cancelled my reservation upon arrival , and didnot remember that i spoke to them and reconfirmed reservation . book somewhere else and enjoy your trip but not at the gallery .

For the price this was a great hotel. Extremely clean, very large bed, small dipping pool, room cleaned everyday. Very helpful and friendly staff, quiet location but central. Only downside was access wasn’t great for kids in buggy or pram, no restaurant. However, for value for money it is a great place.

Was left a fraction dissappointed upon arrival The room looked exactly as shown in the photos Only problem is that they are now showing highly visible signs of wear and tear and damage Potentially a nice hotel in a quiet Side Soi not far from the action Be good to see maintenance levels such as paint and repair of crack tiles and water damaged mirrors be a much higher priority for management These are easy things to do but it seems the management are happy to do little on this front

As others have said, this hotel is just OK. I stayed there on two separate occasions on one trip. First room (on the 5th floor) had a TON of ants in the bathroom. 2nd room (on the 4th floor) didn't have ants. Both floors I assume are the Deluxe rooms, which are the better rooms. This hotel could really be a better experience with a few little touches. Note to hotel management.....a little paint would go a long way! Pros: quiet location, courteous staff, guest friendly (which can important to some), short walking distance to Bangla Rd, and the beaches. 99bht breakfast 20 feet away from the hotel. Cons: the pictures are misleading as others have said. They really need to freshen up this hotel, both inside and outside. Rooms are small but I was by myself so no problem there. They don't thoroughly clean the rooms. The safes are not secured to anything....so someone could actually walk about with the entire safe.

The hotel location (although being at the very end of an alley way) was great - walking distance to shopping, food & the beach! The pool (if you can even call it that) was very small & in the front lobby which was odd. Room size was decent - the wifi in the room worked at times. For the price of the stay it was worth it!

Misleading pictures
Be aware of the misleading pictures of the hotel; The reception and the furniture are not good looking as they seem. The receptionist are not friendly and are very rude, I've had a conversation with one and she started laughing and was making fun of me with her colleague. The furniture of the room are wore off and the bed sheets had stains. the towels were terrible inside the room and when we took beach towels from the reception, they had BIG holes when we opened them at the beach. The AC wasn't not good either. Never again

They Cancelled My Booking For Me -- Wonderful!!!
I can't give a proper review of this hotel because, on arrival, I was told that my booking had been cancelled. I did not cancel my booking and, upon further investigation with hotels.com, neither did they. After I arrived and made it clear I was still expecting a room I was told there were none. The Gallery staff told me that they had received direction to cancel my reservation. From whom? I don't know. Not me or hotels.com. After even further questioning The Gallery staff then changed their story and said they tried to run my credit card but had issues and then repeatedly called me to discuss the issue. I checked my credit card and there was no issue with the balance nor did I receive any attempted phone calls from The Gallery. The best guess I have is that they saw they were over booked and saw that my reservation was pay on arrival and decided to cancel it thinking there was a chance I wouldn't show up. If you book here, pay in advance. Maybe that way you won't be treated so rudely and told you have to find another hotel by staff who clearly didn't care about the problem they created for me and my friend.

Nice stay in Patong
Hotel was exactly what we needed for our first two nights in Thailand. Very simple room and comfortable bed. Great location as it’s away from all the craziness in Patong. The taxi driving did have trouble finding the place but once we were there we were happy.

Great location right in the middle of Patong. 10 minute walk to beach and strip. Room was basic but fine for a few days stay. You do have to pay 1000 baht on arrival for deposit of room key which you receive back at the end.

The room wasn't sound proof, you can hear people swinging and slamming the door early in the morning. The second night, the room next door was making a lot of noises. The guest was screaming, talking loudly, walking in and out of the room, swinging and slamming the door. We got so annoyed, called the reception to complain, the reception called up to their room but it doesnt seems to help. I will not return to this hotel ever again!!

I love this hotel!
This is the third time I've stayed here and I will continue to do so every time I possibly can. Firstly, the staff at this hotel are great - so welcoming and friendly. Secondly, the accommodation provided is great. Well sized, clean rooms kept in good order. The hotel is within short walking distance of everything you could need. I just love it here!

Decent. You get what you pay for.
The stay was okay. The hotel is very difficult to find. The location is pretty good. It’s in close proximity to major shopping centers and the beach. The room was decent. It was good for the price, but I would suggest spending more for a nicer hotel. It’s worth it. Side note - we got food poisoning from the Tiger Group restaurant in the same alley as the hotel, so I would not recommend eating there.

Tried a new hotel as i was looking for a low cost option.. my review can be summed up in 3 words DON't EXPECT MUCH... at THB 800 per night, i got a huge bed in a small room knocking my shins at the edges every two minutes, a noisy crackling transformer right outside my balcony making it seem like a thousand bees trying to invade your eardrums when you try sit in the balcony.. sewer smell from the bath and if the aircon is off then a horrible stale smell engulfs the room. Plug points in the most laughable places makes you quite an acrobat trying to boil coffee water !! No breakfast.. late night pool with drunk men talking loudly and a minibar list with condoms (haha) Good for a night or so, but if you need some more amenities like wardrobe etc., then look elsewhere.
