The staff are very kind. The room was clean but the corridors needed cleaning. Considering there were not many guests this shouldn’t have been An issue. The location of the hotel is perfect and the pool area on the roof has been improved and a nice place to enjoy the sun. If there is a deal it is worth it.

They will robb you
Awful? The pictures are 100% false. The service is terrible. My friends money got robbed in this hotel, and when we complained they blamed us over the two beers we drank. Customer service was crap, absolutley no towels. As we were checking out, they wantes to charge another family for missing towels, which they stated they never took. I would never recommend this place. I travel around the world, and thus far this has been my worst experiance ever.

Lovely stay
Great place to stay if you want to be across the road from beach, shops, laundry, eateries. Very central to everything. They have a renovated pool area with nice new sun loungers and bean bags to relax on. Be aware there is no pool ladder to get in or out of pool so if you have mobility problem this maybe an issue. Air con excellent and being on fourth floor it was very quiet.

Like the property you can walk to the beach dislike we sat down at bar no one ask us what we want or need we sat there about 15 minutes they wasn’t busy guy just clean the glass he doesn’t even ask us or try get some one help us so we leave when over across the street get our drink and food

I loved the air condition room. My room was spacious and it smelled lovely. Their breakfast provided seemed great even though I didn’t get to eat there. The reception area and the bathroom downstairs need more work. It smelled terrible like drainage.

The location was not bad. You crossed the street to the beach. The WiFi was terrible you had to keep signing in about every 3 minutes. The Crystal tour co located in the lobby and main office next door was great. I would recommend them highly.

Better hotels in the region
I stay in a lot of hotels and usually give credit where it’s due. It’s ok budget Hotel, nothing special, halls and stairs need a good thorough cleaning, pool is disappointing and also needs cleaning. Was disappointed when checking out as the claimed I took a hand towel, opened my bags and showed them, why would I take a €2 Euro towel, there was only 1 towel that size left in my room all week. Had to write a note claiming this. I won’t be back there in a hurry.

The hotel location is premium. So you can get around on foot everywhere, including Bangla. It’s also bang on the beach. Getting to town is easy as the bus also stops outside the hotel. However, the hotel staff is quite poorly trained. For foreigners, note that they aren’t good at English. They screwed up on several occasions when we visited. We booked a superior room, but they gave us something a level lower. We had to fight our way to get them to correct it. We asked them to box breakfast which they failed to do even though the guy had instructions printed out. While leaving in the middle of the night the person at the desk didn’t know we had already settled so we argued with him for few minutes and he couldn’t understand us. Also, downside of the hotel is that there is no gym. The pool is tiny, so you can’t swim. It’s more for taking a float. They also don’t have a lift, so don’t book here if you are in need of one.

Great little beach hotel
Great location and quiet at night. It's across from the beach and a 10min walk to Bangla Rd. Great wifi, shower pressure. Rooftop pool area is wonderful but the pool really needs a revamp! Super breakfast that was had different choices every morning. Would stay again.

The property was nice and close to Patong Beach. We were in a renovated room and there were no complaints. The staff were very friendly! My only complaint is the lobby smelled terrible! Not sure if there were sewage issues but I had to hold my breath when crossing the lobby to go upstairs!

be careful!!!!
We arrived at the hotel 4 people. We were surprised to discover that there was no elevator in the hotel, and it was not known anywhere. When we asked to change the room to a lower floor because we are older people and one of us suffers from a medical problem. The hotel refused and we remained helpless. In the end, we had to leave the hotel and sleep somewhere else. Although we did not sleep at the hotel we were charged for four nights. When we asked for a refund the hotel refused despite all the problems that arose. Needless to say, the hotel is not solitary, rooms are very small and opaque. Recommend not to spend time at the hotel.

Close to the beach but then that is about it. Very noisy from the street outside until the early hours of the morning, so forget having an early nights sleep before 3am Pool not as nice as the pics show and pretty much the same for the rooms

They’re doing some construction and don’t have an elevator, so be prepared to walk up and down stairs. Luckily they take care of carrying your luggage from check in and check out. Need to cross the street to get to beach, which was actually pretty dirty. Trash and plastic bags floating around the water. Other than that, breakfast buffet is pretty good and the staff is nice. Wouldn’t mind staying here again.

Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The room is alright with small tiny balcony. The swimming pool area has a billiards table, but it closes a bit too early. Breakfast is moderate.

My hotel experience at the Royal Palm beachfront
The hotel is clean and tidy the staff can't do enough for you the food was very good in my opinion but I never made breakfast the only knock I can give is the showers I stayed in to rooms because of the time I was there and there are bit hit or miss on the temperature meaning they can go from hot to cold fast and visa versa

Overall is consider good for our for 3 nights stay. The bed was comfortable, decoration in room was basic and simple, but clean and tidy. And the bathroom was small and the shower will switch hotter and cooler while using (unstable temperature or water flow). Breakfast was good taste but less variety. Air conditioning system was good enough. Easy access to the convenience store like 7-11 or family mart and drug store, a lot massage shops and restaurants just along the hotel, once finished massage can straight away crawl up to your room. And there is always have tuk-tuk ready in front of your hotel. The pool is small but clean and tidy.

The staff were not nice or helpful and we had property stolen, although not expensive you should be able to leave low value items amongst your belongings without it being stolen. The breakfast was nice but basic considering other hotels of the same rating. You are hassled from the moment you walk out the front door onto the street which is not the hotels fault, just part of being Phuket. We saw rats outside and a foul odour wafted in through the air conditioning.

o.k 2 star hotel.
the hm.sanda & other manager were top class,perfect english,rest of crew spoke very little english or none at all,making things difficult often. rooms are very old & it shows,only reception looks good.beds are ok but extremely heavy to move closer to the 1 electric point,only 1 other point is across the room for kettle.maids clean bathroom & change beds,then a quick run across the floor with broom & mop.they do not touch anywhere else with your stuff on eg side of bathroom sink,shelf which go across the room in lounge.this lounge shelf cud be excellant if they put shelves or drawers under to put ya clothes in because the only area is the small wardrobe which does have hangers & a tiny shelf where all clothes are piled up-thats very poor. no lift & my knees nearly died on the two flights of stairs to 2nd.floor. in brief the whole place is overdue for a refurb,worth no more than $30 per night as it is a 2nd class hotel. oh resteraunt has no air con so only asians did not feel the heat & fans did not do the job.
