Fantastic Honeymoon Destination!!Posted Nov 18, 2013
Pros: Everything!! We don't have a bad word to say about Le Meridien it was a beautiful resort with beautiful staff and we had an absolute blast!
Cons: Free Wifi for all guests!
Location: Banglar Road in Patong is a must..the main shopping centre and only about 10 mins away by car!
My husband and I had a fantastic time staying at the Le Meridien in Phuket! It is a beautiful resort and the staff are just lovely and all very accommodating! It's close enough to Patong (short 10 min taxi ride) that you can enjoy the night life but also secluded enough to enjoy your own private beach and relax at the resort without the hustle and bustle of Patong! We found the prices to be about the same as you would pay in Australia for cocktails and massages etc in the resort but you can find some excellent bargains out in Phuket! Rooms were very comfortable and clean..we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Meridien and would definitely stay again!!

Bad hotel staff servicePosted Nov 4, 2013
1.Hotel staff are generally unhelpful and rude. Don't expect the usual great Thai service here. 2. New room renovation but poorly designed bathroom. After a shower, you will wet the whole bathroom flooring. Water will slip off the bathtub.

Perfect Beach Vacation!Posted Oct 28, 2013
This was our fourth trip to Le Meridien Phuket Beach Resort. It is a perfect resort if you are looking for a wonderful beach vacation. It is also just a 5 minute Tuk Tuk ride to Patong, if you want to do a little shopping etc. Le Meridien is our favourite beach in South East Asia!

Beautiful beach & friendly staffPosted Oct 25, 2013
Pros: Great location, nice and quiet, great pool and sensational beach.
Cons: The only thing that I would say is that the pool could benefit from some shady areas.
This resort has probably the nicest beach I have seen between Patong and Kata, it's very secluded so the beach is only accessible by guests and staff. If the beach is not your thing then they also have two great pools. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was a good variety of dining options if you wanted to stay on the resort. Nice large comfortable rooms, also quiet considering there were still renovations being completed, we didn't hear a thing. The resort is quite close to bath Karon and Patong, about 10 mins by Tuk-Tuk each way. So both very accessible but far enough away to enjoy some piece and quiet.

seriously, paradisePosted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: just about everything
Cons: could have more restaurants, more diversity
Location: seriously, dont bother leaving the premises. Patong beach is a dump. though little village just outside the resort, with massage parlors is ok
i got to admit - as much as i disliked Patong beach and Phuket town, i fell in love with Thailand through Le Meridien resort. the beach is excellent, the facilities are clean, staff remembers your name, and is very attentive and helpful. breakfast spread has lots of choices.

Great hotelPosted Oct 9, 2013
Hotel was still under some renovations which didn't spoil our stay at all but would be keen to go back to experience the new areas. Food accomodation facilities all great and private beach a bonus. Well be back.

Great spot, nice and private but close to action.Posted Sep 26, 2013
Pros: Everything. Especially liked the well manicured gardens and lawns. Beautiful.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
Location: Great private location but close enough to action if required. Tours and day trips can be arranged in house.
The resort was excellent from all accounts. The rooms were well sized, very modern and clean. The staff were very friendly and any problem that arose was dealt with quickly and without any fuss. (We had a minor issue with our first room. Before we knew it, we were relocated AND upgraded without even asking.) The private beach was a great escape with no hawkers to bother you. The food and restaurants were great, along with the gym and the public areas. Tours and day trips were discussed with the travel girl at the front area and these too were organised with little fuss. Overall, a very well presented resort and a great place stay. I personally could not fault any part of our stay there. One of the best things is that the resort is far enough away from Patong to be private and peaceful, but close enough so that a five minute tuk tuk ride has you back in the action.

Great Real Resort! (Under HUGE renovation)Posted Aug 14, 2013
Pros: Friendly staff, comfortable/beautiful/renovated room.
Cons: Many thins closed due to renovation (mainly main swimming pool and restaurants). Shower tall leaking under the glass door.
Location: Very convenient. Close to everything, but far enough to be private, quite and silent when needed.
This a great hotel. Only one issue is that it is under renovation... The biggest swimming pool is closed. Some of the restaurants inside the hotel are also closed. In fact, almost half of the hotel area is closed for renovation... There was some noise (due to renovation) on the first hours when we arrived, but they took care of it, and that just last a few hours, while we were outside the room anyway... The shower stall doesn't seal properly under the glass door. After shower (great shower) the floor is always partially flood... The condition of the available areas is great. The hotel offer a large range of services, entertainment and support. The staff is very well prepared, everyone speaks good English and all them are amazingly kind and friendly. The location is nice. It is outside Patong area (quite and silent), but only 5min by car (THB300) or Tuk-Tuk (THB200). Things inside the hotel are, of course, more expensive than outside at town area (Patong or Karon). But that is expected, regarding a luxury resort... Quality of things inside is also devotedly higher!

Great Hotel - Private BeachPosted Aug 9, 2013
Cons: They gave us free inroom WiFi since the facilities were under construction, but normally this is an extra charge. Would like to see free all the time
Location: sightseeing, snorkling, diving trips to nearby islands, zip line, water sports, elephat rides, shopping
Great Hotel Located on Karon Beach Area - a great getaway from the more populated Patong and main Karon beach areas, this large modern hotel located on its private beach with all the amenities. Service was excellant, and the hotel has a very large buffet every morning included that was great. This hotel offers a lot of onsite activities like minigolf, driving range, archery, rockclimgning wall, and water sports, so you never have to go offsite, (even has a guy with a baby elephant walking around the pool) We used this as our R&R stop after a longer tour through SE Asia at in-city hotels and it was great. About a 10 min taxi ride back to Patong beach or Main Karon Beach areas if you want some local flavors. Also most tours to Phi Phi and other islands will pick you up at the hotel. Presently under rennovation on the north half of the hotel, so some of the restauants closed.
