This hotel was a disappointment for me because of how the room was very old with old lights, furnitures, tv was the oldest tv ive seen, the bathroom was the part i didn’t like because its an old style shower where the restroom floor gets wet. Swimming pool looks decent. Eating area downstairs is fine and balcony as well.

Superior room not very good
I paid for the superior room with kitchen. Staff were friendly but room hadn’t been lived in for a while. Musty and a few giant cockroaches. Biggest problems was with the water pressure for the shower...found myself stuck with no water halfway through doing shampoo...came back after 5 minutes but it happened more than once. Internet wasn’t security conscious. Password very simple. I think that there are better options around for the price...unless you want the most basic and cheapest room..

Bearable,but wouldn't rush back.
Well generally the hotel was tired,and be needs updating, rooms were clean but towels sheets and pillow seemed old,the housekeeping was hit and miss first day seemed like all they did was clean the bins, another day came back at 4.30 pm and saw the housekeeper and asked if she was going to clean our room today and she said no,so I put the bins in the corridor so she had to empty them ,get a bath towel and loo roll,not what you expect to do on holiday and the day before we left saw her in reception and she asked if I wanted the room clean and I told her not to bother,as we were leaving early the next morning. The swimming pool was clean and nice for a quick dip , but the furniture around the pool was broken with legs snapped off sunbed,and other furniture in a tired condition. The balcony is open to other rooms and dirty and fronted the road which could be noisy at times,and to top it off no batteries in the TV remote control,I didn't have much choice of hotels as I book it very late,it was bearable ,but I don't think I will be rushing back.

It’s OK, nothing special
Hote was ok, delux room facing the street was a waste of money, balcony offered no privacy and was neglected. Mattress was on a 100mm high platform on the floor, comfortable enough but too low for older people. Shower was the usual low pressure dribble.

Great budget hotel, badly managed
5th and probably the last stay in this Hotel.It has been poorly managed/maintained recently, with negligible service.Seems to be running on an autopilot & its hard to find who can actually assist you (especially during nights).The night staff is busy watching TV with his friends and least interested to assist.Poor WiFi in the rooms, balcony furniture full of fungus, broken, safe broken, electrical plugs loose & cannot hold,extreme low water pressure, mold build up in the toilet, swimming pool not clean, torn bed sheets, no repeat Guest recognition (even after telling them about it), no porter service, so you have to carry your suitcases yourself up the stairs with no lift. Their beach shuttle (tuktuk) broken down, very strong fungus smell in the parking, everything is too much to ask as a service and they have one Manager (Lady) there for many years, who has no empowerment to think & act out of the box. Restaurant has been relocated is absolutely dead place with no service. You enter their kitchen to tell the staff to come and take your order. Juices and tea coffee are not served. You have to dig and look for things (They don't even tell, you where they are hidden).They will not even switch ON the FAN or A/C for you, you need to ask for it. Swimming pool furniture is broken & full of mold/ fungus. Beautiful property transformed into shambles. I am myself managing world class luxury Hotels for more than 2 decades.

The stay at the Album Loft was very good indeed. My wife and I found the staff very helpful and very kind. We will definitely stay there again. I enjoyed the swim in the pool every morning.

Great location, <10min walk to Jungceylon
The Album Loft is a hotel on Nanai Rd that is clean, comfortable and less than a 10min walk to Banzaan/Jungceylon. Those 3 features were enough for us to enjoy our stay but we wouldn't stay there again. There are better priced options on Nanai Rd than what you get at Album Loft. The downsides: The staff do not respond to emails in a timely manner. We tried to book an airport shuttle 3 days before our trip, they responded when we were already in the country. The front desk staff is not the friendliest. They're not horrible but they just aren't enthusiastic to do anything. The pool was always cloudy and murky and completely uninviting. The Wifi drops out all the time, very frustrating. We ended up going to cafe's and bars to check emails, book any trips etc online. The website claims they offer a free shuttle to Patong each day. Completely false advertising! Their hotel tuk tuk doesn't even work, it's just parked out the front for aesthetics. The 1 bedroom apartments are badly designed with limited utensils. If you're considering one of these, don't bother. You'll only use the fridge as the rest of the kitchen is a waste of space with no balcony access. It doesn't even have a toaster or bottle opener and there was only 1 knife, 2 spoons and 2 forks. In general, the hotel is in need of an update.

Nice clean hotel, large rooms has all the basics for a good stay. Reception open 24 hours even when returning in the small hours after a night out. I'm from a large city so the street noise was not a problem just added to the Phuket, Patong experience :) No lifts I stayed on 3rd floor not a problem but if you have a aliment then maybe not for you. couple /singles and family friendly

Good hotel for the price we paid. Around 1.5km to Patong beach and Bangla road, and less than a km to Jungceylon and the street food markets. Excellent clean room with good service. The hotel even has a swimming pool.

Simple, Clean, Quiet - but stilll close to town
Dont confuse with its sister hotel - The Album (in town). This is a little out of town on high side of Patong. Still only a 10 minute walk to - say - Joycelin Shopping Centre (but there is better shopping before you get there - a row of stalls on the end of Nanairuamchi (just less airconditioned!)...Room and linen was clean, simple - was on the pool side of hotel (recommended) had a nonfunctioning powerpoint for the electric kettle, but there were other plugs next to the bed to use so not too much of a hassle. Due to a slight minibus accident I arrived later than expected. The reception staff on at that time were cordial, but not really overly welcoming (well, it was quite late!) The staff on the next day were fabulous though - and quoted an 'extra day' rate some 200Baht lower than the staff the night before! (800B vs 1000B) There are some good little cafes, food stands and places to grab a beer nearby at a fair bit less than the touristy places 'down the hill'. Has a simple pool - mercifully shaded in the mornings for those of us still white as a lilly. All in all, a simple, clean, easy going place to stay in a good location a little away from the madness to help acclimatise

Nice hotel, got to stay in a room overlooking the pool. Room smelled like cigarettes, but I bought a air freshener that solved the problem. Pool is very nice, the bathroom could use a bit update but still ok. The hotel is 10 mins walk from the famous and super busy Bangla road, but there are many restaurants and bars just down the road. There's a 711 and a mini market just across the road. I'd recommend this hotel for solo and couple travelers, not for families. It can get a big loud over the weekend..

Its a nice hotel. Within walking distance to all the main attractions. The Staff were polite and helpful. The room was big and modern, and surprisingly quiet. Only complaint would be that the bed wasn't very comfortable and dragging your luggage up 4 floor wasn't that much fun. But other than that, its a great place to stay. I'd recommend it.

Patong is touristy soulless place for "party animals" who are too lazy to find something unique. We had to stay for one day/two nights as in-between late flight and liveaboard diving trip. Hotel was very good for the price. Although far from beach location was good. Close to shops, laundry and some "not packed with tourists" restaurants. Best feature is pool since Patong beach is full of people and hawkers.

I loved the hotel, the staffs were really friendly, they helped me with everything. They cleaned really well my room. The location is good, very quiet and about 10min from the center and around 15. 20min of the beach. A lot of little markest around. I would totally gonna stay there again if i go back to pucket.

Just perfect :)
It was a perfect location, a 5-10 mins walk to th street market and Jungceyloun mall. Patong beach is about 15 mins away from the hotel. The staffs were friendly and amazingly, they can speak perfect English though I couldn't clearly understand what they were trying to say. The guy who checked us in, carried our luggage up to our room as well. We do not need to lift our fingers to carry the bags. Superb! We booked for a suite. Everything was perfect except that th bathroom door for th shower is abit of a trouble and there is no hair dryer as well. So for those who badly needs hair dryer, I suggest you to bring one! We had a splendid stay. Sadly, we did not use th swimming pool as we are too tire doing so much activities as soon as we reached th hotel. :)

This place is highly recommended. i liked the friendly english speaking staff here. Really felt good staying here. The rooms are clean. Got what was booked. Jungceylon mall is walking distance away. Beach is 20 mins walking. Centrally located and necessary eminities arround. To sum up highly recommended for budget or mid-budget stay. You will be happy to choose this hotel.Breakfast included was good. Being a vegetarian had decent choice.

Too far away frm shopping centre n beach. "eleven bus"frm shopping centre abt 15mins, go to patong beach abt 20 mins If you can drive motorcycle, it is gd choice. If not think abt walking distance.

Great Value
We had a really great time at the Album Loft, my girlfriend and I. I have to be honest and say that we had a really good deal since we have received a free upgrade because of an administrative problem. Overall, the personnel was really nice (by far the best we encountered in Thailande so far) and the pool and the room were very clean and beautiful. It is a bit outside the center of Phuket, which is a good thing because Phuket gets really noisy at night. It's about 10 min by walk from the Bangla market and maybe 30 min from the beach.
