Very dated and unclean. Pool tiles has no grout :(Posted Sep 30, 2013
Pros: Close to beach, friendly staff
Cons: Overall maintenance. Air conditioning updated. Improved cleanliness. Resort needs to get into the modern age quickly.
Location: Red onion restaurant is a must to eat at. Approx' 2 km walk onto main street of Karon. Beach is 2 min walk. Great massage places to the left.
Disappointing compared to photo's on here. Very dated, unclean and overall uncomfortable. The pool has no grout in tiles so be prepared for sliced toes and knees. Which occurred daily to all travelers!!! Shower was hot, cold, hot, cold. Not a biggy as room most of time was a sauna and the cold water was a relief. We chose not to eat at the restaurant as many occasions, walking past the kitchen, the smell would knock you off your feet. Linen was not changed often. Bed would be gritty when getting in; or moldy sheets if they were replaced.

Great Location . Good Clean Rooms But datedPosted Jul 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a good 4 * resort at a great Beach "KARON" which is very exclusive and clean beach, its got great sand and is a pleasure to bathe. The hotel though is clean but needs renovation and innovation which is a very business of phuket resorts.. it is located near the beach and a good selection of street food stalls. A must area if you dont want the buzz and buzzing of PATONG beach

I want to learn RussianPosted May 20, 2013
Pros: Location and friendlyness of staff
Cons: Could not get my ham and cheese omellete in the mornings as I was getting to the restaurant before the chef
Location: Absolutely fantastic, two minutes walk to the beach, two minutes to the bazaar market, ten minutes walk to the entertaining nightllfe etc
Stayed for 9 nights had a terrific time stay, thoroughly enjoyed the banter with the staff, although the language barrier was a problem at times, too few speak reasonable english. Location of hotel is fantastic and the overall stay was great. One little draw back was the amount of our former friends from the former Soviet Union that were staying there.I would say that 80/90% were russian. Big plus I love russian girls. Might have to go back after the monsoon.

As it should is, a 3.5 star hotel.Posted Apr 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed there during the Songkran weekend. For location, no doubt great location, just a couple of steps to Karon beach. The rooms were relatively clean, bed comes with mosquito net but house keeping was barely acceptable, with towels not replaced and shower gels not replaced (wonder if it's the lack of manpower during their holiday period). Daily breakfast was okay, decent but the seafood dinner buffet at 599bht (499bht with discount) was forgettable and less pleasing on the taste buds (really, seafood items were mostly charred). Service wise, they were friendly but a little disorganized / unsure what to do. It's okay for a quiet relaxing stay, with less interruption or buzz at a lower rate.

Position is good, facility and staff just so soPosted Apr 7, 2013
Hotel is big, near the beach (across the road). Room is OK, no good no bad, just so so. Some of the rooms on the 1st floor can go into the swimming pool directly, that's funny. The pizza taste good. They have shuttle bus to Patong twice a day at 12:30 and 19:00, single way. That's convenient. Otherwise, you have to pay 300B at least by TukTuk. On the other hands, Some of the staff at the receiption are not very polite, not like other Thai people I've seen in Samui and Chiang Mai.
