“Great Hotel”
The hotel is huge and very nice, the breakfast is very good.
“Don't go there! You'll be disappointed!”
The level of quality was sub-standard; nothing you would expect from a hotel chain like Hilton. Before I will get into the details, I will begin with a one sentence summary of my impression: The hotel stuff give you the feeling that "we don't understand you; we don't try to; we don't care! Oh ... but we need your money!" I experienced there event after event, to the point where you can't just treat the service problem there as isolated incidents. Examples: (1) They do not replenish soaps. If you have just a tiny part of a soap left from the previous day, they will not put a new one in place. (2) Almost every night, there were noises of doors slamming... I called the reception, but they said they will send someone in the morning to check. And ... they said they couldn't hear a noise??? (3) There was not hot water in the upper floors. They would not change my room, and the plumber they sent sat there an hour trying to open and close the water tap .. not really understanding what he's doing; (4) No way you can get any recommendations at the concierge. The only thing they know to do is to hand you brochure of travel packages which they can sell you; (5) On the last day, I asked if they can get a local taxi for me to airport, but they said that the only taxi they can call is the Hotel Taxi which charges as twice as much. I felt that they tried to mislead me! There were many local taxis parked there at the gate. I just called one by myself. Don't go there! You'll be disappointed!
“Beautiful Hilton”
We chose the Hilton in Phuket due to its location across from Karon Beach. We were in Thailand for our 10 year anniversary and wanted to relax. Although the beach was easy access, we found ourselves spending the majority of the time at the hotel's pools. I had no idea that they pools had slides and one of the pools had a waterfall you could go behind. It was beautiful! Everything about the hotel was beautiful. We chose to include breakfast with our reservation and am so happy we did. I looked forward to it everyday! The food was always excellent and the choices plentiful. The fitness center was adequate although two more cardio machines would be nice (one was in repair). My husband and I did some weight training without bumping into anyone. I would recommend taking advantage of the fitness center. We also did a couples massage at the Hilton's spa and it was worth every penny. So relaxing and the atmosphere just so calming. The beautiful views from our balcony were of the lagoon and mountains. I just can't rave enough about this hotel. We didn't bring our children, but definitely will next time. It appeared very family friendly and although we were there for a couple's retreat, I still felt the Hotel appealed to both. You won't regret anything about this hotel. I can't wait to go back!
“Very nice Hotel right on the beach”
Very nice hotel right on the beach in a very nice bay in Phuket , not the busiest one with all the bars & adult areas etc , several pools , outstanding breakfast buffets, they need to provide either free internet or something more reasnably priced.
“Phuket Hilton”
This was a great hotel. The only thing I was surprised about was the distance from the airport, but that was my fault. I would definitely stay there again.
“Wonderfull Hotel and outstanding grounds”
Large Hotel with several buildings and extensive and beatifull gardens and trees all around. Nice big rooms most overlooking ocean. Three large pols and excellent and clean beach just across the road. Staff is very friendly, walking distance to many restaurants and shops along the Karon and Kata Beach. Phuket is otherwise very busy and traffic is a problem so it is nice to have everything close by to your hotel.
“Excellent stress free resort”
It was our first trip to Phuket and we loved our stay. The Hilton is a beautiful well spead out resort which offers the advantage of being away from the hustle of Patong (which is a only a 20 minute car ride) and a short walk to the public beach.Very courteous and accommodating staff and very comfortable rooms. The breakfast is excellent.Highly recommend the Hilton for a relaxing break. Suggest one hire a car as this makes exploring the Island easy.Recommended one visit the Big Budda (a 30 minute drive) and Phagna Bay (a day trip) and the excellent eating places all over the island. If you are a keen golfer - The Blue Canyon Country Club - Canyon Course (45 mins drive) is a must! A massage at Sukko Spa which is a 30 minutes drive is a fantastic! The Fantsea show is outstanding!
“Beautiful Karon Beach”
A very beautiful and elegant hotel on Karon Beach. Lovely decor in a wonderful spot with a not crowded beach area. Fun shopping within a short walk. Rooms are very nice and housekeeping is excellent. Only complaint is that I paid 500 baht for a cab ride from the airport and had to pay 1500 baht for the ride back to the airport. Seems as though something should be done about that. Everything else was very comfortable.
“gogini srinivasulu reddy”
we enjoyed the lovely breakfast at the hotel and huge swimming pool
“Royal service”
THis is a lovely resort w/ outstanding service that made you feel like royalty. THere was attention to detail in the rooms even to how the wash cloths were folded into elephants or adorned w/ flowers. The workers at the beach pool were friendly and antipated your every need. THe only tiny negative was the one step down from the bedroom to the bathroom which we occasionally stumbled over. Food in the restaurants was good and we ate there half of the time. THe cooking class offered was fun. We found a van at the airport and kept his card and used him exclusively for travel in and out of the resort due to use of crutches and wheelchair. Regular taxis were more accessible from the beach road, but the hotel was always accomodating for our kids when they went into Patang.
