“Exactly as promised”

Off the beaten track, this resort is a great get-away from crowds and commercialism in Phuket. Isolated from even the nearby town of Khao Lak, the hotel is on the Andaman Sea along an otherwise deserted long stretch of beach. Access to town is available by regularly scheduled group taxi, although the rate is fixed and high by Thai standards. Service in hotel is great. Staff is very pleasant. Restaurants are entirely fine although not fine dining experiences. Two pools were great. Hotel was happy to arrange excursions. No nightlife to speak of, but I would return right away to enjoy a beautiful escape back to nature.

“rest and relaxation”

we were a little surprised to the location of this hotel but if your looking to get away from all the hustle and bustle life can throw at you you just have to try this hotel situated 100 klm from phukett and 3 klm from the main road of khoa lak it sure is a wonderous paradise. we had no problems at all getting around and the staff were only to friendly to help. it has a private beach and the resturant has 5 star dining. breakfast was a delight also with full american and trad thai dishes. the only real complaint was that the mattresses were as hard as rocks but the staff accomodated us by placing 2 softer materesses on our existing bed which made our stay much more enjoyable. overall our experience in this hotel was first rate.

“totally impressed and thoroughly recommended”

Although, about an hours drive from Phuket, for someone who just wants to get away in luxurious surroundings, this is it. My partner and I were just so impressed, the staff were super friendly and efficient, we had wonderful views to the pool area and the beach which was only a few metres from the hotel and best of all, it was quiet. Breakfast wasgreat, the nearby town had good shopping, but if you are going to Bangkok, buy there cos its cheaper! We definitely will be returning next year, this time for longer. Best value

“Tucked away”

Stayed at this hotel from the 20/04 - 03/05/08. We had a most enjoyable and relaxing holiday. The location of the hotel is on Khuk Khak beach and is quite far from any shops or restaurants. We hired a car for our stay and it was great to drive ourselves around whenever we liked. We would not consider staying at this hotel unless we had a car. The beach is very quite and the sea was very wavy and got shallow very quickly. The time of year we went is the start of the low season and there weren't many people there. Construction on the new wing started on the 1st May for a new wing and pool. So the hotel offered to put us in the Andamania hotel for our last two nights incase of noise but we decided we would rather stay where we were as we found the staff friendly and the hotel comfortable. We regularly had pool side lunches and drinks and found the prices very reasonable. The pool is basic but we spent a lot of time in there to kep cooling off when the heat go too hot. The breakfast was adequate but we found because of it getting quieter and quiter the breakfast choice was reduced several times over the fortnight. The rooms are of a very decent size and kept clean. Some rooms haven't got great wireless signal. wireless Internet cards are available from reception at 150 baht for 1 hr or 400baht for 5hours. either one can be used over the 7 day no matter how many times you login. We would consider staying at this hotel again. Especially if we got a good room rate again.

This hotel was very clean and tidy it was not a big complex but had every thing i needed the food was good the swimming pool was a good size and clean the beach was very nice 100 yards away from my room all the rooms balconys seemed to look over the pool and beach, The staff were good very frendly and helpfull very good to relax not a lot to do at night Khao lak is a Quiet town if you want night life you would have to travel
