“Beautiful hotel - didn't want to leave”

The hotel was beautiful and perfectly maintained. The journey is slightly longer from the airport than other main destinations (such as Patong and Phuket Town) but it is worth it for the elevated view and quieter beach. On arrival we were met with such a gracious welcome as only the Thai can do. The room was comfortable and spacious with everything and more than we needed with a large balcony overlooking the sea - spectacular to wake up to. The grounds you could explore for days, with lily ponds with frogs singing, huts, and benches with easy access to and from the beach directly outside. Service was flawless and friendly and the staff could not do more to help. We visited during low season which meant the hotel had far fewer guests than we expected but this suited us well and allowed the the staff to be very attentive. High season when the hotel is buzzing may be a different experience but we will definitely be returning to find out!

“Perfect Vacation spot!!”

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon in the month of November and we absolutely recommend this hotel 100%!! Hotel is located right across from the beach, complimentary breakfast was delicious, pools were nicely maintained and hotel staff was very courteous and spoke great English! We only stayed here for half of our trip and went over to Kata Beach for the other half of our trip. We kept saying over and over how much we wanted to go back to the Movenpick! I would definitely stay here again!!!

The Resort was picture perfect, the facilities were immaculate and the staff were attententive and considerate. The location was well positioned away from the hustle and bustle of Patong yet in close proximity to all features that the island has to offer. Highly recommended.

Fantastic hotel with wonderful staff. we stayed with our 1 year old daughter and they couldnt have done any more for us. we stayed in a deluxe garden villa which was lovely and all of the staff went out of their way to make a fuss over our daughter. we stayed just as Bangkok airport reopened so the hotel was at half capacity but it picked up just as we left and there were still plenty of beds available around the pools. the hotel itself is new and maintained to a high standard but is very family friendly. we can't wait to go back next year.

“Karon Beach tropical paradise”

This was the best hotel I have been to in Thailand. And for the price it was also a good value. It is situated right across from Karon Beach. It had a great pool, beautiful gardens and the room was amazing. On top of this, the service and cleanliness was also top notch. I noticed that the restaurants were pricey. So if you want a better value meal, it is also near to some basic restaurants and hawker stalls. Down the street, it also has a local night market behind the hotel. And heading South on the Beach Road is a great local market selling souvenir items. Can't wait to go back!

“A Beautiful Resort”

I extremely enjoyed staying in Movenpick Karon Beach. The residences complex is the best choice inside the Movenpick. The view from the balcony is breathtaking and relaxing. Kids enjoyed the pool and the beach, which is across the street from the Residence. The staff was sooo friendly and always trying to help with a beautiful smile.

“Excellent Resort”

We booked a garden view room but were upgraded to an ocean view room. This probably didn't make much difference as the motel-style accommodation is the furthest on the resort from the beach so we could only see a glimpse of ocean. The grounds are sprawling and the individual units are closer to the beach. Still, it is a very pleasant stroll through the grounds to the beach which is literally across the road. The resort is very well-maintained, there are 3 swimming pools, lots of dining options, the buffet breakfast is extensive, covering most nationalities. The room cleaning is thorough and there is also a turn down service in the afternoon. The staff are friendly and smiling (as are most Thai people). I would thoroughly recommend this resort to any visitors to Phuket. We drove through Kata Beach one evening and it looked more glitzy and much larger than Karon Beach where we stayed, but it is only a few minutes by car and Karon has a nice laid back atmosphere (though beware the pushy tailors!)

We rated our two nights in Movenpick as best hotel on a 28 day tour around Asia. Best breakfast buffet and beautiful grounds. Lovely ambience in the foyer as well.
