Ok for short stayPosted Mar 7, 2014
No coffee making facilities in the room was a big let down for me. Drinks very over priced, small bottle of beer cost 7 euros. Food good. Rooms good. Staff good.

The hotel provided an adequate base to central Piacenza. Public transport was within easy reach from the hotel and visa versa.

idea hotel piacenzaPosted Apr 18, 2011 on Hotels.com
we have stayed at this hotel twice now, both times we have been passing through so it was just an overnight stop. guy on the front desk was very helpfull as we had to change our booking date. breakfast was the best we had encountered on our journey through france and italy ample choice. quite a few good restaurants nearby including a chinese one which was very busy. would stop off there again on our return journey.

Excellent valuePosted Jan 16, 2011
Great experience. Very clean hotel and helpful staff. Breakfast buffet was excellent and the serving staff was extremely delightful. Would definitely recommend and definitely stay at again. For this price, you can't go wrong.

Not typicalPosted Nov 2, 2009 on Hotels.com
This hotel is not typical of Holiday Inns. Normally you get a large room and the services advertised are inclusive. This listing said free internet and breakfast. There was neither, and when we asked the price of the breakfast it was 13 euros each. Looking at the breakfast it was poor value, with ancient scrambled eggs and unattractive doughy bread. Very disappointed.
