Amazing airport hotelPosted Nov 3, 2014
Had a 9 hour layover in Trinidad and did not want to take the expensive cab ride into Port of Spain. This was the perfect airport hotel. Reasonable price, i paid $153 CDN on expedia. double bed fit two people comfortably. VERY clean. Large bathroom with brand new shower, fixtures, etc. Exceptionally clean room with no bugs, clearly cleaned often. Flatscreen TV, new A/C unit with remote. Free breakfast has eggs, yogurt, cereal, milk, free bottled water, etc. Family owned place and the owner/manager personally picked us up from the aiport (for free), you just call her from the tourist office in the airport (the guy there will make the call for free, there is free wifi in the tourist office as well, I landed at 9pm and the office was still open). She came in about 5 min to pick us up, took 3 min to get to the hotel. She had already turned on the A/C for us before we arrived which was a very nice touch. She then woke up at 4 am, made us breakfast, and drove us back to the airport at 4:30 am. So for a 9 hour layover, she made our stay very comfortable, and we got some good sleep on a decent mattress. Highly recommend, especially since all the other airport hotels in Piarco are dingy and quite a bit more expensive.

Heerlijk om hier te verblijven. Het continental ontbijt is oké met appels en druiven. Fruit van Trinidad zou meer welkom zijn. De gastvrouw is zeer zorgzaam, geeft je een familiegevoel.

Extremely Pleased!!Posted Feb 28, 2014
Pros: They had a beautiful property that was quiet, peaceful, and it was gated. So we felt completely safe and taken care of.
Cons: It's hard to come up with anything. The only thing I can think of is that they could upgrade their breakfast chairs that they had.
We were very pleased with our stay at Piarco Village Suites. After traveling all day, we were picked up at the airport by the owners of Piarco. They were very pleasant and helpful. When they realized we didn't have any dinner yet, they offered to drive us somewhere to pick up something to bring back to our room. We were very grateful! They gave us the suite room, which was an upgrade from what we had booked, and the room was beautiful, comfortable, and clean! They even borrowed us their cell phone in case we needed anything. The breakfast was very good. They catered to us from the moment we arrived, up to the time they brought us back to the airport the next morning to fly over to Tobago. A very pleasant experience!!

Conveniently located near the airportPosted Feb 28, 2014
Pros: Having the airport shuttle service and a clean, comfortable room.
Cons: A cafe/restaurant facility on site would be an excellent idea for guests who are just too tired to go out.
Location: Since my stay was just for the lay-over flight I did not have the opportunity to check-things out except for the mall.
My overall experience has been great! Even though my flight was delayed coming into Piarco International the owner/manager was waiting for me. It was very welcoming. When I arrived I was starving so she dropped me off to the nearest mall for a quick bite to eat and some shopping. Accommodated my schedule back to the hotel later as well. My on-line reservation was also taken care off. I found the owner/manager to be pleasant, warm and very friendly. I preferred not to have breakfast so early and I was amazed that she had packed me a meal-to-go. That is what I call excellent customer service!!! Thank you.

Pros: Hospitality of Hosts/Owners
I'm a solo female traveler who stayed at Piarco Village Suites 1/25-1/27/14. The owners/hosts were exceptional! They provide airport pick-up and drop-off free of charge - and are willing to provide transportation around the area, as well. They even granted me the use of a cellphone to contact them to request a pick-up from several local destinations (e.g., tours, restaurants)! They were extremely gracious and helpful and assisted me with booking tours in the area. The free breakfasts offered a variety of options - and were delicious. A freshly prepared breakfast was even available for me prior to a very early flight on 1/27. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable - and even though this facility was located within 5 minutes or so of the airport, there was no sound whatsoever of incoming/outgoing flights. The hosts/owners are obviously proud of their country and will strive to ensure that you make the most of your stay.

Not fancy but excellentPosted Jan 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
During my stay I was impressed with Ms. Veejaintee's assertiveness and spontaneity to help me resolve any inconvenience I could have found as a business traveler. It is not a resort for vacationing but it is spacious, private, clean, quite, nice, affordable and less than 5 minutes from the airport. Facilities are limited, but service and cooperation are superb. I recommend the hotel.
