"Lovely B&B in village location full of character"
This was my second stay at this cottage, this time for one night with my husband. We were welcomed by the host, who showed us to our room, and then made us a pot of tea. The room was pleasant and clean, and the bed was very comfortable.
For breakfast, fresh fruit, yoghurt, stewed fruit, cereals, toast (home made bread), and a Full English were available. The latter was freshly cooked to order, even down to the very well done sausage and bacon!

High Farm bed and breakfast is a lovely old farmhouse full of character and set in extensive grounds a couple of miles from Pickering, North Yorkshire. Ruth and Stephen who run it are fantastic people, they did everything they could to make us welcome and nothing was too much trouble including plates of home-made cakes when we arrived in the afternoons to putting some spare food in their fridge! The full English breakfast each morning was awesome and set us up for the day! The room was very comfortable and quiet and everything that we needed was there. All in all, we had a brilliant weekend and will be sure to stay again next time we are in the area.
