Front desk personnel was not so welcoming but the room and facility was great! I would recommend this hotel to everyone that doesn't mind poor Custer service at the front desk

Central and inexpensive.

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: The location was perfect.
Cons: The rooms could use updates, such as new carpets.
Location: The hotel is located near a few restaurants, gas stations, convenience stores and supermarkets. It is close to freeway.
If you are looking for luxury and an elaborate breakfast, this is not a hotel for you. It is centrally located and inexpensive. All major sites in Los Angeles (Hollywood, Santa Monica, Dodger Stadium, Chinatown, Downtown LA, Beverly Hills, etc.) are within a 20-45 minute drive from this hotel, depending on the time of day. The hotel is old, needs new carpet and updates in the rooms; but, it is pretty well maintained. The breakfast consists of packaged sweet rolls, coffee, cereal, juice, and milk.

Shower didn't work. Lever for shower was inoperable. Water drained extremely slowly. Therefore water build up in the tub. Called front office and explained the problem. It was around midnight. He said maintenance personnel will fix in the morning. After I gave an angry reply and asked for a tool so that I can fix it myself, the front desk personnel came to try to fix it. It was a temporary fix.

Homeless People in the back of Hotel

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Looked at the window from the hotel room and it appeared that Homeless people were staying in the back of the hotel next to the window. I asked for a room change, hotel staff stated none were available. Asked for a refund they said a refund could only be given through Expedia in 2-3 days. Staff appeared very non-chalant about the issue.

Not good experience

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Exterior is nice/good. I called for late check-in and they honored it.
Cons: a lot - not enough space here - see above.
Location: na
Lot opportunity to improve. Not good memorable experience. - On may late check-in, I was assigned smoking room - I had booked non-smoking... - The person inside told me this is what is available - 'take it or call them to cancel', he could not do anything about it. - Only one facial towel was kept for the double bed room!! - Since the room was smelling smoky - staying with kids was really not pleasant. - The breakfast counter can be quickly refilled - intercontinental breakfast did not include any cereal !... I hope they improve the service and improve the customer experience of their stay there.

Eh... Hotel is below average.

Posted Jul 20, 2014
The receptionist was very unprofessional. She was talking on her cell phone, while we were waiting for her at the window. Got to my room and the door did not feel securely locked. I had to put a towel at the bottom of the door because there was a crack at the bottom enough to peak through. The first switch i turned on the light was not warm at all. The light made the room feel cold. But after i turned on the lamps near the bed the light bulbs lite up the room with warmth. Bed was low and uncomfortable. The bed sheet had a little stain and the pillows were flat and scratchy. I had to use a towel to place on top of the pillow to sleep on. Thats how paranoid i felt.

Decent price

Posted Jul 14, 2014
The reservation was made for a non-smoking room and we ended up with a smoking room. Bad start. The towels look like they were used for 10 years . 1st floor rooms should not keep the windows open since you can see everything inside! you can hear everything that is happening outside. specially the rooms next door. This bothered me a lot since the sounds of the doors closing next to me were so loud as if it was my own door. But still you get what you pay for. Price overall was decent. Take it if this is your last option.

Decent hotel. The man that checked myself and my three other friends was very reasonable with all the issues we had with the reservations.
