Friendly service, hunter centralPosted Nov 8, 2013
Pros: Price and convenient location to where I needed to be.
Cons: The water in the tub of room 250 needed to be turned to 'cold' to warm up. Maybe you could label that so everyone doesn't wait for warm water?
Location: Pierre looks like the capital of ND: Bismarck. Enjoy the sights with warmer weather in the SD capital, Pierre.
The check in clerk was very friendly. They attracted lots of hunters. A dog-friendly place. It was a good place to stay.

It is what it is.Posted Oct 30, 2013
Pros: a freezer for guests.
Cons: The staff is clueless. one person says pets are free one says there $.6.95 one person says they can beat Expedia price but the next person says no.
Location: good location
I do 4 hotel/motel stays a month for the last 30 years so believe me when I say. Its a motel. and they don't really try hard. The breakfast is poor. The staff is below standard. The maids are ok but the front end staff is not really good. every single person thinks they run the place, and as far as I can see no one really does. If you can get a room cheap enough stay there, but if you cant go to days inn. 10 times better. with employees that think. not a bad stay could be allot better.

good value HotelPosted Oct 28, 2013
Had trouble getting room to be cleaned. Bed was not very comfortable and there was quite a bit of noise from cars and people outside as well as guests coming in and out of the rooms and talking in the hallway. However, they had a decent breakfast and our room started out seemingly clean. Also, staff was very pleasant.

Passing ThroughPosted Sep 23, 2013
Pros: Price, Convenience, Size, Location
Location: The location was excellent for travelers passing through. And if its just to rest, its a good place. Rooms are close to exits.
Just passing through and looked up motels on expedia. It was late and there was a discount and the rating was ok or better so we went with it. Value wise it was great! Comfort wise it was lacking some. The breakfast in the morning was ok also. Overall though, I would stay there again if passing through.

Near the riversidePosted Sep 22, 2013
Pros: It was not a chain.
Cons: A little old fashioned.
Near the riverside and walk. Only a few blocks from the Capitol and historic downtown.

The guy at the desk wasn't overly friendly. He seemed to have much to do. Found some good information at the Chamber of Commerce next door and lucked in on a dinner. The river and town have a lot to offer. The sweet rolls are yummy and breakfast was good. The room was clean and quiet. Great location to main roads.

Black Hills experiencePosted Sep 3, 2013
We stayed at this motel on the last leg of our trip, and it was nice to have a comfortable and affordable place to break up the long drive. The rooms were clean, staff nice and accomodating, and the area was pleaseant with a poark and river only a block away.

Close to river and parkPosted Aug 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
Was a nice place, good beds and really good breakfast. Air in room #2 was not as good as room #1, however, several new units were ready to be installed so they are taking care of problem.

Nice hotelPosted Aug 19, 2013
Pros: Cater to motorcycles. They have a parking spot next to motel reserved for "bike wash" and have a rag in room specifically for washing bugs off bike.
For the price it was excellent. Clean rooms, quiet, friendly staff.
