Good place to stay, nothing special but clean and

Pros: Location
Great location near wonderful mountains and lakes. It was cold when we stayed but the city was fun and we got out and saw a lot of wildlife.

Stop on the way from Yellowstone to Denver

Posted Aug 26, 2013
Pros: Nice stopping distance, good breakfast.
Cons: No elevator available to the second story rooms. The new annex is quite a ways back from the lobby but you can park in the back for access.
Location: Walking distance to the towns restaurants - not surprising since the town is very small. We ate at Wind River Brewing Company - good steak and beer.
Overnight stop on the way from Yellowstone / Grand Tetons to Denver. Room was clean and pleasant. I used the guest laundry room, washers, dryers and detergent were all available. For $5.50 total for 1 load I was pleased to have clean clothing for another week +. Breakfast room was large with a variety of options: eggs and biscuits in addition to waffles, bagels, etc.

Not Bad

Posted Jul 16, 2013
Pros: Very nice staff.
Cons: Breakfasts need to be more consistent. Each night on our trip the breakfasts got progressively lower in quality, even in the hotel.
It was allright. Very nice staff. The breakfasts need to be more consistent. Each of the four days (in 3 different BW's), got progressively lesser and lower in quality.

Surprisingly good

Posted Jun 23, 2013
Pros: Location.
Location: About half way from Interstate 80 to Grand Teton National Park, on the north side of Pinedale.
We weren't expecting much from this property in a tiny town on one of the main approaches to Yellowstone and the Tetons, mainly because of some previous experiences in the town that could charitably be called "mixed." However, we were pleasantly surprised to find it a highly comfortable motor lodge, fully on the Best Western standard. Rooms are reasonably spacious and well maintained, and the front-desk staff were courteous. The complimentary breakfast is typical of such offerings or a bit better. A minor drawback is the inn's comparatively long distance from most of the restaurants in Pinedale, but the town is so small that this is hardly a significant problem. (More of a problem is that the several restaurants in town that we've tried have been, frankly, not very good -- but we're not talking about an expected New Orleans-scale restaurant scene here.) All told, it's an entirely reasonable place to stay en route to the national parks that leaves one well placed to reach the destination early in the day after a good night's sleep.
