Best place in Piran!Posted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: Location, location, location and staff
Location: Right in the middle of beautiful old town Piran. Much more picturesque that neighbouring resort areas.
Terrific spot right in the middle of Piran... best location which we have seen. So close to the sea it's like being on the room balcony is like being on a cruise ship. Great sunset view...

Comfortable hotel, right by the seaPosted Jun 14, 2015
We stayed at the hotel for two nights, the arrangement for the garage parking worked well with the courtesy bus on arrival and the hotel shuttle on leaving, breakfast good with excellent coffee, the staff all pleasant and keen to do anything to make your stay satisfactory. The sun beds and umbrellas by the waterfront were a welcome addition for comfort, overall I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Piran.

Perfect location - shame about the room!Posted May 21, 2015
Pros: The staff and location
Cons: The rooms - see above
Location: Perfect location - good restaurants - try Pri Mari for dinner.
We have just returned from a lovely week in Piran. We loved the location and the staff at the Hotel Piran but were very disappointed with the room we were allocated. We paid for a Superior Double with a balcony overlooking the sea. Unfortunately, it was on ground floor where the passers by could look into the room and the balcony as they were at eyeline height. The room itself was as basic as you could imagine - depressing dark skimpy curtains and one narrow net curtain between us and the balcony. The bedroom furniture consisted on a tiny bench, taken up mostly with the TV, and a chair. There were built-in bedside shelving which stopped the wardrobe doors from fully opening on one side. We just couldn't understand why the rooms were so bleak when the reception and dining areas were so good. However, the staff tried to re-allocate us but there just wasn't space. Fortunately, for the owners of Hotel Piran, they have been blessed with the best staff who made our stay very pleasant. There is also a wonderful terrace on the top of the hotel - sadly for us it was not open.

Posted Jan 13, 2015 on Hotels

Unbeatable location, but loud over the streetPosted Jan 10, 2015 on Hotels
Hotel Piran is located on the west side of Piran and is situated right on the Adriatic Sea. Its location is probably its best asset. You can eat breakfast while looking out over the water and Croatia and have drinks in the evening while watching the sun set and people fish along the breakwater. As a small town, Hotel Piran is convenient to all the sights and restaurants. If you are renting a car make sure to park in the lot before entering Piran and take the city shuttle or the hotel shuttle. The hotel offers reduced rates for the parking garage so make sure to ask before checking out. The city shuttle drops off at the main square and the hotel is about a five minute walk towards the water. Accommodations were nice, except make sure to ask for a room that is higher than the first or second floor if you are facing the street. In September/October there was quite a bit of street traffic into the night. Breakfast is your standard continental offerings with a selection of meats/cheeses, pastries, coffee, and juices. The room was very spacious and could fit two people plus all luggage comfortably. The bathroom was also large size, which was nice to see after visiting Bled. I would recommend Hotel Piran if visiting again, except I would definitely request a room not facing the street. When visiting Piran, make sure to eat at Neptun and Gostilna Park. Both have fabulous seafood dishes.

Ottima posizione, in centro e fronte mare.Posted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: La posizione
Cons: Soprattutto i bagni
Attenzione!!!

Nice cityPosted Jan 4, 2015 on Hotels
Good hotel, spacious rooms and friendly staff. Very good location, next to the main square and the Adriatic Sea. Good view from the restaurant. Varied breakfast. Good relationship between price and quality of the hotel. Small but charming city.

Posizione invidiabilePosted Dec 30, 2014
Ritmi tranquilli, gente cordiale.
