Easy walk into PisaPosted Jul 28, 2015
Pros: pool and location
Cons: pricing of food, snacks and drinks.
Hotel was pleasant but the food and drink are really overpriced. We had lots of mosquitos in our room - and we all got bitten overnight. But on the positive side, the beds were really comfortable and the aircon was very cold (if a bit noisy). Easy walk into Pisa and a nice pool (but no Turkish bath that I could see). Silly rules though about not being able to drink your own water at the poolside - but having to buy it at the bar!

15 minute walk into Pisa. Good pool. Clean.Posted Jul 25, 2015
Pros: Location and family room
Cons: General standards in room. more attention from staff.
Location: an easy walk into Pisa if you are mobile. Two minutes drive.
The hotel was not five star standard but more like four star. Pool was nice and room was great for a family. The hotel needs attention. for example the wires were hanging down from our tv and the restaurant sold wilted overpriced sandwiches. We would stay again as it was good value for money.

Perfect hotel if your staying in PisaPosted Jul 21, 2015
Good pool , nice rooms about 15 mins walk to the centre of Pisa Only thing that lets this hotel down is the bar and restaurant staff . So rude!! never ever at the pool bar and considering this is peak holiday time it's so annoying having to hunt around the hotel for a bottle of water . Don't no what happened because the reception staff are nice and helpful Over all I would recommend

It was great! Thank you so much!Posted Jul 6, 2015
Once we arrived they gave us a free upgrade to an apartment. Lots of space and all the facilities were in the apartment (#4)available. On one side we had an amazing view of the famous tower and on the other side we were facing the swimming pool. At the pool you can order drinks but they are quite expensive. We (mom and I) did really enjoy our stay! Some small details for the management: More sunbeds would be a big plus and soms bathrobes in the room would be nice. When I visit Pisa again I will definitely stay at Abitalia Tower Plaza again!

For a 5 star hotel it is pretty averagePosted Jun 22, 2015
Room had only been half cleaned on our arrival with many items such as empty water bottles still lying in the room from previous guests when we checked in. Air condition controls didn't work so room was too hot most nights. The pool could do with a good clean. In general the hotel is old and tired looking and could do with some revamping. Staff where very friendly and helpful.

Great Hotel but too FarPosted Jun 7, 2015
The hotel is actually very nice and the rooms are spacious, almost unlike any other Italian hotel room and more American, which is a good thing. We were lucky enough to have a veranda that wrapped around most of the room and could see the leaning tower from there. The view was spectacular. The only downside was thst it was so fat away from the main city and train station (Pisa Centrale). We had to take a taxi to get around each time which adds up fast. If the hotel were situated closer, it would have been perfect.

Well appointed and located Pisa hotelPosted Jun 2, 2015
Pros: Location- just of the SS1 and 15/20 minutes walk to the leaning tower. Modern well appointed hotel with parking and wi fi.
Cons: Breakfast - the staff seemed to be extremely busy and as a consequence items of food were not replenished before they ran out.eg milk, scrambled egg.
Location: The centre of PISA is 15/20 minutes walk. Lucca is readily accessible by road and rail
Stayed three nights at the end of our holiday in Tuscany. Its a good base for sight seeing in Pisa and well placed for the airport. Accomodation was very clean and comfortable.with a view of the Duomo and Tower. Facilities were what it is expected of a 4/5* hotel. Staff in the main were very helpful and friendly. Given its location next to the SS1 traffic noise could be an issue for the light sleeper. Also more attention to managing the breakfast buffet would enhance the experience
