Nice hotel, great location.

A very nice hotel, clean and comfortable. No wifi in rooms or international tv channels so facilities not the best. Beautiful views of the sea (extra cost). Excellent location, short walk to a nice town and beautiful beaches. Also near to bus service to Pisa. Locals not great at English so be prepared to try some Italian.

Definitely not 4* hotel

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness and good breakfast.
Cons: Needs to be updated
Location: Beach is close by but most of them private beaches, quite costly. There is a free beach but its really small.
It was worn down, needed updating. Needed more facilities for it to be valid as a 4* hotel. Although was clean and comfortable, king bed was disappointing, was two singles pushed together. Great location for the beach but require a car if you wang to go into pisa or surrounding areas.

Very bad condition. No wifi in room and bad signal in lobby. Breakfast was the same everyday for 5 days and it was not good.

Great for a budget holiday.

Posted Jun 20, 2014
Pros: Breakfast, pool, balcony view, bathroom, bed.
Cons: Balcony needs painting, fridge could be a bit cooler, way too many towels in the bathroom, don't need all that.
Location: Beach is 5 mins walk, loads of restaurants and bars, 20mins bus to Pisa centrale.
The hotel is near the beach, 5 mins walk, near bus routes, breakfast is great, pool is fantastic, staff are helpful and speak english, room was clean but could do with a bit of painting. Overall pleasant stay.

Nice hotel near golf coarse and close to beach

Posted Jun 6, 2014
Pros: The size of the room and the views!
Cons: The dated appearance
Location: Golf course, beach, lots of food, town. Not far from Pisa, Livorno, or Lucca
Hotel was a little dated, but had amazing views with a very large room and balcony. The breakfast was very nice and substantial. It was a great surprise for a last minute booking. Would definitely stay again.

Close to Leaning Tower

Posted Apr 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
Room and bathroom was large and extremely clean. Staff is friendly. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Leaning Tower is close by. Also, stop by Gulliver for lunch. Price is reasonable and food is great.

Pisa short city break

Posted Oct 29, 2013
Pros: Close to the beach, city and the airport, but not in the middle of the city
Cons: Nothing much.
Location: Mentioned above
Hotel in general, was pleasant and very clean. Room was clean and spacious, with balcony overlooking the sea. Continental breakfast was adequate. Close to the airport, 15-20 minutes by car. About 30 minutes to Pisa for sightseeing or the railway station. (parking no problem) Spent one day sightseeing in Florence. Travelled by train, trip take about an hour. Walk to the beach is about 10 minutes. Walk to some good food restaurants is about 5 minutes. Golf course, which I did not play, is also very close by. (just over the road) All in all, a pleasant three night stay.

Stay somewhere else.

Posted Oct 16, 2013
Pros: Leaving.
Cons: Everything.
Location: It is near the leaning tower of Pisa, aprrox. 15 min by car.
Avoid this hotel, it is old and hasn't been updated in at least 30 years and it shows. I don't understand how this hotel gets more than a 1 star rating. The hot water was brown when I went to take a shower, even after letting it run for sometime.

Grand hotel golf

Posted Sep 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel rooms a little dated but for the price it was great! Lovely pool area, huge rooms and bathrooms and great location. If your looking for somewhere cheap to have a relaxing break, this is the place. Regular and cheap buses also make it a good base for sight seeing Pisa.

the grand golf hotel pisa, Italy.

Pros: the free and easy atmosphere and pretty surroundings.
Cons: the evening meal was fairly small, more potatoes!
Location: lovely views to the beach from balcony about half a mile away. nice pool and sunloungers. nice place to cycle or take the bus into pisa.
very relaxing stay, quiet and friendly staff. pretty country surroundings. not many shops around so more time for the beach and walking. spacious bedroom, dining room, lounge and pool. nice relaxed atmosphere about the hotel. need a bike to reach the food shops or a car we walked to the village about half a mile and enjoyed the country lanes that we would have missed by car.
