Our stay in Pisa

One night in Pisa. The staff was very helpful - the location close enough to what we wanted to see. The room very clean and the breakfast in the morning good.

Excellent hotel to use as base

Posted Oct 25, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: There was a slight leak from the shower door.
Location: The location is good for the airport (5 mins by taxi) and railway station (5 mins walk). The Tower and cathedral are across town but an easy walk.
This hotel was perfect for us to use as a base to visit other towns-an hour to Florence and half an hour to Lucca. It is 5 mins walk to the railway station and 5 mins taxi ride to the airport. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection was very good.

Excellent hotel close to the station

Posted Oct 14, 2014
This is a very modern and well kept boutique hotel, well maintained, in perfect condition. Convenient to the station, about a 15 minute interesting walk from the Leaning Tower. For my budget it's slightly pricey, but it certainly delivers value.

Great stay. Great service, lovely, lovely room. Only bed on our vacation that wasn't two beds pushed together! Good breakfast, too. Near to train and airport, 20 minute walk to Leaning Tower. Walk was through happening part of Pisa. Location of hotel not romantic, but in good neighborhood. Would definitely recommend!

Good hotel, handy for the station

Posted Oct 9, 2014
Pros: Near the station
Location: Nothing in the close vicinity but 10 minutes walk takes you to the main town with shops, bars and restaurants & another 15-20 mins to Tower
Pleasant one night stay. Clean and tidy room. Nice breakfast

Lovely authentic Italian hotel

Posted Oct 5, 2014
Pros: The customer service was exceptional
Cons: We struggled a bit with the shower and soaked the bathroom most days
Location: The hotel is in a fairly unattractive residential area but is 10 minutes drive from the airport and 10 minutes walk to the train station.
If you're looking for a high spec bland international hotel, don't stay here. But if you want a hotel where you feel like part of the family, a huge room filled with interesting antiques and the convenience of being near to the airport, station and old town - then give this a try

Peaceful refuge in a busy city.

Posted Oct 1, 2014
Pros: The room was stylish, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was well fitted out and immaculately clean.
Cons: Tea/coffee making facilities in the bedrooms would be good.
Location: Walking distance from the airport. Very close to railway station and main shopping/tourist attractions of Pisa. Lucca is well worth a visit, too.
We greatly enjoyed our stay at this small, friendly hotel. We asked for a quiet room when we booked on the Expedia website and that was exactly what we got -- it was at the back of the hotel, overlooking a courtyard. It also had a balcony, which was a pleasant surprise. The front desk was manned day and night and the staff were always courteous and helpful.
