Comfort and care

Posted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: The second room we booked was an upgrade and very comfortable.
Cons: The larger rooms need a small sofa or armchairs.
Location: The Leaning Tower, Baptistery and Cathedral are all worth spending serious time over in order to absorb the beauty of the architecture.
The staff were both professional and caring and the hotel was comfortable.

Tutto perfetto

Ottima posizione tranquilla. Colazione abbondante e molto variata. Bellissima la sala da pranzo. Personale gentile e preparato.

Good location, uncomfortable room.

Posted Mar 31, 2015
The hotel is in a good location, however the staff were rude when we checked in and out of the hotel. We were glad we only stayed on night. The room was very hot and when we called to ask about the air conditioner in our room, they said they were turned off at the moment and could not be turned on. In the winter this would have been fine, but it was a very nice day and the hotel was uncomfortably hot.

Disappointed

Posted Mar 28, 2015
I stayed at this hotel for a few nights. I was not happy with the room they gave me and they did change my room. Unfortunately there was no wi-fi connection in my new room and its next to a service room that keeps the cleaners stuff, which means that you get waken up by the noise of the cleaners in the mornings, also the room had a very strange unpleasant smell. Then they offered to change another room for me, but one worse than another, either full of smoking smell or looked dirty. All in all my experience was not nice. The hotel needs some renovation work. Definitely not a 4 Star hotel. Though location is good.

My Experience.

Posted Mar 22, 2015
Pros: Acceptable accommodation, but not the best that I have stayed in.
Location: Close enough to walk the town, but not recommended for lone females at night.
1st room that I was allocated on arrival smelt strongly of cigarette smoke, I declined the room and asked for another, which they agreed to without any issues.

Good position

In between station and ancient sights. Stone's throw from main high street. Good breakfast and very helpful staff. Put to the test when I lost my purse.

Great location.

Posted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: Location and comfort.
It is a perfect location as it is only 10 minutes walk to the railway station and then another 10 minutes on the bus to the airport. It is right in middle of everywhere with plenty of restaurants nearby and approx. 20 minutes walk to the Leaning Tower. The hotel is very comfortable, clean with friendly English speaking staff, all you need really for a stay in city that is new to you. Our room was extremely pleasant, with comfortable bed, tea & coffee making facilities. The en-suite was shower only, no bath, which was OK for me but if you want a soak in the bath after sightseeing you may want to request a room with bath. Breakfast was pretty standard continental fare but very nice & plenty of it. If visiting Pisa again I wouldn't bother looking for anywhere else to stay..

Schönes altes Hotel, sehr zentral

Posted Mar 13, 2015

Great location

Posted Mar 13, 2015
Cons: Weird noise at night - sounded like water in pipes gurggling - went on until early hours and lost us some sleep.
Location: Pisa is better than I remember - my wife was suitably impressed by the 'Piazza de Miracolli' and the ethereal singing in the Baptistry.
Easy to get to from the station, nice impression from the street, friendly reception staff, nice room with big bed and great shower, close to the sights of Pisa, good coffee in the morning, shuttle service to the airport.
