Excellent value hotel.

Posted Oct 15, 2014
Pros: Excellent value for the price.
Modern hotel which is approx. 20min walk from centre of Pisa. There is however a Blue line bus stop a few yards away which for 2 Euros(cheaper if you buy ticket at kiosk or shop) takes you into the centre of town in 5-10 minutes. The hotel room we had was quite large with king-size bed,TV(Italian prog. as expected),complimentary bottles of water(sparkling and still)provided each day and large well-stocked bathroom with walk-in shower. If there is a downside to the hotel, while it's in a pleasant area, it is not a tourist one which means that there is a limited choice of eating places around. The hotel has its own restaurant and bar which we did not use for breakfast or dinner.Instead we ate in town during the day and used the very good and reasonably priced Pizzeria situated about 100yards away from the hotel on at least two evenings. There is a new shopping centre across the road from the hotel but at present but has limited eating facilities other than a Japanese restaurant and a small cafe. If you want to buy your wine, bread, bakery items etc.there is a huge Coop supermarket about 5-10 min. walk from the hotel.Directions-When you leave the hotel from the front door, turn right and walk for about 100metres until you come to a main road junction.Turn right again and walk for about 5min. you will come to the Coop store on your left. You will find everything you need there!

Great Hotel

Posted Sep 26, 2014
Pros: The convenience of having the restaurant I Paccheri next door! Great place to eat. Francesco, the owner was wonderful!! :=)
Cons: N/A
Location: In walking distance to Pisa and the train station.
Great hotel, very clean, close to downtown. Nice staff and very helpful. Traffic can be a bit loud at night, specially when you leave the window open. Other than that, things were excellent. We will be back.

Not so close to Pisa Tower as annuanced.

Posted Sep 12, 2014
Pros: That has a restaurant at side.
Cons: I'll never could return to this hotel. I decided about it at last time and there was not another better offer.
Location: Very far from the Tower snd attractions of the city.
A noise hotel since is located in a central avenue, near the airport, etc. Beds very hard and between rooms there is no insulation walls as you can send all the room noises. Not recommended.

Nice hotel, good value

Posted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, comfortable bed
Cons: location
Location: short taxi ride from train station and city center, but about a 35 min walk
We stayed here on our last night in Italy during our honeymoon. There had been a mix-up with our passports at a previous hotel, and so they had mailed them to this one. Thankfully they arrived in time, and the staff got them to us right away when we checked in. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was soft. The only downside was that the location was not really within walking distance from the train station or the city center, but thankfully it was close enough that the taxi ride was not too expensive (about 12 Euro).

City Exploring

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: Polite staff, Buffett breakfast and comfortable beds.
Cons: English TV channels
Location: Two pizza places and a gelato shop two minutes walk from the hotel and several supermarkets
This hotel was a great base to explore Tuscany. Stayed here 7 nights with 2 children. Great hotel rooms well furnished and comfortable. Bus stop outside the hotel and frequent trains from Pisa Centale railway station to Florence, Lucca, etc.

Value for money.

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Friendly and very helpful staff.
Location: The more scenic parts of Pisa are quite a walk away.
A one night stay at this hotel was pleasant and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and spoke good English (important if hopeless at languages such as me). My room was large and had efficient air conditioning which was important with 30 degree C heat outside. The downside was it is a very long walk to the more scenic parts of Pisa. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice available and lovely staff member available to help if needed. The hotel is on the Lan Blu bus route which can be caught from the main station. The station is a Lan Rosea bus ride from the airport. This is a much cheaper option than getting a taxi.
