Good clean friendly hotelPosted Feb 27, 2014
Hotel Roma Pisa is a very nice hotel with good access to all the attractions in Pisa. Situated within yards of the tower. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and the breakfast ample. Will not hesitate to rebook.

Nice hotel right near the tower.Posted Feb 20, 2014
Pros: Enough space in the room. Everything clean and up to the standard. Great location.
Cons: They can start thinking about their furniture upgrade. it's rather old, but still all working and clean.
Location: Tower and the surrounding buildings are just 2 minutes away. Very convenient.
This is just how I like the hotel to be: clean, friendly staff and reasonable price. I spent only one night there, but overall I was satisfied. On the downside - I could hear the neighbor couple from atop(or the side)... luckily they lasted for about 5 minutes or so :). And, from my overall impression of Italy - be 3 star hotel or 5 star hotel - Italians seem to really like to hear what their neighbors are doing...

Good locationPosted Nov 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel was in good location within 150 feet of entrance gate to Tower square and within 150 feet to bus for train to Florence. Best spot if in auto to just leave parked. Desk staff was extremely polite and helpful. Negatives are tiny shower with a small opening of about 15 inches and an uncomfortable bed. Not suitable for a large person. Needed additional pillows to sleep on top of which staff provided.

Good location for Leaning TowerPosted Nov 4, 2013
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was fairly basic but fine as we were only there for one night.. No tea/coffee facilities but did have free Wifi. The residents lounge and dining room were nice. Very convenient for tower and bus stop right outside the hotel. We paid full price for the room (at 120 euros it is over priced - a 60-80 euro rate is more realistic), so did not feel that we got very good value for money.

GREAT LOCATION and AWESOME STAFFPosted Oct 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed here for location as it is right across the street from Field of Miracles. The staff is very friendly and eager to help with any question or suggestion. Martina was very helpful and steered us clear of tourist traps and subpar restaurants. The WiFi is a bit spotty in upper floors but very good connection in sitting area. The hotel is approximately 2 miles from Central train station and the bus is very convenient. Bus stop is located less than 20 meters from hotel and leaves every 10 minutes.

Perfect location and great recommendationsPosted Oct 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
We flew in to Pisa late of the Friday and, with limited time to see the sights before picking up our hire car Saturday lunchtime, wanted somewhere close to the main attractions. When we arrived, the man behind reception couldn’t have been more helpful. On a city map, he pointed out the best route for us to walk on the Saturday morning and also the areas to avoid at night. Even better, he recommended an amazing pizza restaurant (you’ll have to stay there to get the name) and a great ice cream place for the next day. We went up to the room to drop off our bags and it was nothing amazing but clean with an adequate bathroom. Back out on the street, you quickly realise that the best thing about staying there is the location. Literally across the road you enter grounds where the cathedral and leaning tower are beautifully illuminated at night. A short walk to the pizza restaurant and a great meal (still the best pizza we’ve had all holiday and cecina to start) with wine for under €35. The room was comfortable to sleep in and breakfast was adequate but the best thing by far was the location and the local knowledge on arrival.

Great for 1 nightPosted Oct 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stayed here for 1 night and the location cannot be beaten, literally a 1 min walk from the duomo and tower! I only had 1 night and left the next morning, it wasn't expensive and would be good for someone without having a lot of time! Room was clean and bed was comfy enough although a bit hard! Another thing, remember to buy water before going in as I was charged €3 for a 1 litre bottle of water as the shop had closed by the time I got to it!

Great HotelPosted Oct 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
Due to our limited time in Pisa, we booked the Hotel Roma based on its proximity to the Piazza dei Miracoli. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was large and well organised and the bed comfortable while the bathroom was well equipped with modern fittings and was scrupulously clean. Free Wi-Fi access was included in the room price and the continental breakfast was excellent. As a bonus, our room had a view of the Duomo, the Baptistery and the Leaning Tower. We recommend this hotel without reservation.

Comfortable - close to Pisa's major attractions.Posted Oct 6, 2013
Pros: Pretty breakfast room with a variety of bread, rolls, juice, cereal, cold meats, etc. With friendly staff. Lovely garden area and large gathering room
Cons: The carpet in the room was dirty and very thin.
Location: Across the street from the Field of Miracles. Close to many restaurantsy & sightseeing bus stops. Can walk from the Pisa S Rossore train station.
Hotel staff was very responsive to all our requests. Appreciated the extra windows to help soundproof the room from the traffic noise. Unfortunately the walls did not have the same soundproofing to keep out the noise from the phone argument from the person next door at midnight. Someone did knock on their door after an hour. I presume it was the management.
