Pet-friendly hotel

Posted Mar 13, 2015
Pros: Fenced area for dogs; attractive grounds; quiet rooms despite being adjacent to the freeway; very friendly staff.
Cons: It should be more clear when making an online reservation that there is a $25 fee for pets. This was not stated anywhere in the Expedia information.
Stayed one night and found the hotel to be a comfortable place to stay. I chose it because it was listed as pet-friendly, and it definitely is. Several rooms are reserved for visitors with dogs, and there is a very large, fenced area in which they can run. It's a definite advantage after a long ride in the car. Only surprise upon check-in was the $25 fee for my dog. While this would have covered several days, it seemed steep for just the one night. I was told the fee is explained fully on the hotel's website but not in the online sites, such as Expedia, which I had used to book my reservation.

Lots of extras

Posted Mar 12, 2015
Location: It is right on the 101 so there was easy access to get on our way to Monterey and towns like Arroyo Grande. The Monarch Butterfly Grove was fun.
The delicious breakfast served by friendly staff, the hot tubs and pool, the free newspapers and internet, plus the free drinks and snacks each night really added to our visit.

Wonderful Place to Stay

Posted Mar 11, 2015
Pros: They gave my hungry, grumpy son a warm chocolate chip cookie upon arrival, it was perfect.
Location: Just down the road from the Pismo Beach Outlets, and a short drive to the Pismo Beach pier.
Great hotel, great staff, great rooms. It was quiet and pet friendly. The breakfast buffet was yummy, and the evening reception had the best Chardonnay I have ever tasted. We will be back!
