“My third visit already!”

This was my third visit to this hotel and my second as a lone traveller. Very warm welcome, family-run hotel. Nothing is too much trouble. Rooms clean and a good size, even (rarely) for single rooms. Good value for money Clean well-maintained pool and jacuzzi and communal areas. Relaxed breakfast (continental). I have no experience of dinner but heard other guests rate it highly. Excellent location near to spas and park areas and only few hundred metres to funiculor to old town - beautiful views with good range of restaurants Highly recommended and I expect to visit for many years to come

“Very nice hotel”

The hotel was clean, well run and friendly. We had breakfast and evening meals at the hotel and they were all very good with a varied menue. The room was a good size, comfortable, with a large bed, and had a balcony over looking the pool. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others.

“Exceptional Service”

My husband, two children (ages 5 and 2), and myself had a great three-night stay at Hotel Torretta. The staff went out of their way to help, and we loved having our own reserved table in the restaurant for any meals we ate there. I would highly recommend this hotel for it's family-run atmosphere and location.

“A tucked away haven”

This is an excellent place to stay - for the over 40's. The pool and gardens were spotless and there were plenty of loungers and shade. The room had a balcony overlooking the pool and also had a bar fidge so "sundowners" were no problem. Breakfast could be served outside on the terrace and all the staff were helpful and friendly. We dined in the restaurant and the food was typically Italian and good.Parking is secure and round the back. The hotel is a little out of town and a 15min walk - up hill on the way back - but not a problem. We liked the walk through the park and the quiet from the city noise. Overall a good place to stay - should be a 4*!

“Very satisfied”

Not basic or too fancy but a great base for the area with friendly, flexible staff and good clean facilities. A Ford Mondeo amongst Italian hotels, you get just what you need and would expect.

“A friendly, family run hotel”

From the greeting we received when we arrived to the friendly farewells when we left, I was very impressed with the friendliness of the hotel staff. They were also incredibly helpful, and were more than happy to suggest/book restaurants, suggest places to visit etc. The hotel pool was also a massive plus, especially at the end of a long, hot day site-seeing! I will definitely go back to Hotel Torretta next time I visit that area of Tuscany.

“A great family-run hotel!”

My aunt and I stayed in Hotel Torretta last week and had a great time! Everyone was so friendly, from the owner down to restaurant staff and couln't do enough to help make our stay enjoyable. The food was great, suprisingly reasonably priced, and served in a professional and pleasing manner. The rooms were very pleasant and the pool and surroundings good. The hotel is situated on the edge of the park where all the thermal baths are to be found. A lot of the hotels are in the centre of Montecatini and I was worried at first that the Torretta might not be so central. But I think that it's more pleasant and quiet being on the edge of town, and it's only a 15 - 20 minute stroll through the park into town, and to the station at Montecantini centro, although my aunt being 80, we sometimes took a taxi back up! Also the hotel can provide a shuttle service if required. It's also very close to the funicular that takes you to Montecatini Alto, on the hill. Montecatini is a lovely little town, and Lucca, Pisa and Florence are easily reached by train. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel and hope to visit again!

“Excellent family runned hotel”

Excellent hotel for the value. Also excellent real 4 star Italian cooking by their chef for lunch and dinner at very reasonable price.

“Excellent Hotel”

Great hotel! Excellent location - 10 minutes to the train. The staff was more than helpful with restaurant reservations, spa reservations and organizing a driver to the outlets! The hotel was very nice with a pool and a great view.

The staff at Hotel Torretta went out of their way to ensure we had a perfect stay. The Hotel is in a great location to ride the funicular and stroll into town. The hotel is beautifully appointed and immaculately kept. The bed was the most comfortable we had during our entire Italian holiday! The restaurant food was absolutely fantastic. Couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough!
