Perfect location
Very clean and comfortable hotel. Rooms are cleaned every day, Free filtered cold water you can fill in glass bottles anytime which is very handy when its hot outside. Location is perfect if you want to travel to Pisa or Florence by train. Train station is less than 10 min walk. Many caffes and restaurants close by. 5 min walk to all the shops , amenities and places to see. Definitely recommend it.

Top class hotel and great value
Stayed for 2 nights. Hotel was immaculately clean. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom were extremely spacious. Excellent breakfast. Would highly recommend and also great value.

It wasn't as explained on the website. They didn't had any coffee in the room and its not located in Florence and had to travel one hour to get to the Florence city centre. Limited sitting and dining area and it looked like a carehome it was also so boring. Never go there again.

Dear Niufar, we do not understand your complaints, although we want to understand to improve our service. You say that we are not in the center of Florence; obviously we are in Montecatini Terme, a famous spa town just 40 minutes by car from Florence. We have never quoted that we are located in Florence city; we are in the heart of Tuscany near Florence, Pisa and Lucca. You wrote that there is no coffee in the room: in fact, you can find coffee during breakfast or, during the day, in our bar with self-service mode. In the room we give a selection of teas and herbal teas. Then you talk about boring place: we are a boutique hotel, an art hotel not a tourist village. We are sorry that we did not meet your expectations, but perhaps you were very distracted in your choice, so much so that you arrived the day after your check-in date without notifying us and so much so that you chose the wrong city to stay

We missed our train and arrived at 1am :( Being as very small hotel, the reception closes around 930pm unless you get in touch with theanager to arrange a late check in. Well, we were greeted at 1am and it was smooth from that moment until check out two days later very cosy and nice hotel, and breakfast, which was included , was delightful, just as the person who served us. Located close to shops and restaurants, which was very convenient. I recommend 100 times for your stay 9j Montecatini Tempe. Thanks again!!!

Good value hotel.
Well located near the centre of the city, with free car parking in a public car park 5 minutes away. The owner was very nice and helpful. There's an honesty bar and a few tables and chairs outside if you want to sit and watch the world go by. We paid a little extra for a small suite and felt it was worth it for the additional space. Breakfast was good continental fare with nice coffee. Overall good value for money.

Superb Accommodation
Stay here and it will make your holiday! This is by far the best hotel we have stayed at during a month's tour. Carlo is an excellent host and really goes the extra mile to make your stay an enjoyable experience. Top quality accommodation at a great price, very comfortable bed and great location. A fantastic breakfast was included with an excellent selection - freshly cooked and baked by the friendly and helpful Barbara. Very highly recommended.

A wonderful Michelin listed hotel located in a central location in beautiful Montecatini Terme. I’d rate it as a affordable high quality boutique hotel. Carlo and his wonderful team see to your every need. Wonderful breakfast prepared to your order and served with the sweetest smile every day. A perfect way to start a great day. They are there to help their guests with anything from booking tours to printing train schedules, restaurants etc…it felt like home away from home. The hotel is very clean. Rooms were big enough with spacious bathroom and great shower. Filtered water offered in lobby area along with precleand glass bottles, a very helpful service you’d come to appreciate as a tourist. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely go back every time I go to my favorite town of Montecatini Terme.

This is a lovely hotel, you will NOT be disappointed. Lovely continental breakfast served by Barbara, lovely lady, only €8pp, well worth it. Exceptionally clean. Location near to centre (10mins) and near to stations which take you to lucca, florence and pisa well worth a visit. Funicular to montecatini alto also smashing. The spa gardens and building so Italian, loved it all ..Carlo at the hotel a lovely man. If you didnt like this hotel then you have the problem. Well recommended

Loved everything about this place! The description of the check-in on the Expedia Site is totally wrong and needs correcting A.S.A.P.!!! There is a large and very attractive, manned reception area with check-in available at all hours - not as described by Expedia, at the time of booking! This lovely, modern, clean, revamped, friendly and well staffed Hotel, welcomes clients at all time of day and night, requiring only to be informed of the arrival time, if after 20.30 hrs. Friendliness and professionalism of the staff make this beautiful place like a home away from home! I would very highly recommend it, as not only it should have 5 stars in my view, but is close to everything, is in the centre and within walking distance of both train station, for sightseeing further afield. I would love to go back with family there again!

The service, cleanliness and location were excellent. The rooms are a little sparse but the worst part was the bed. It wasn't comfortable at all. The bathroom was huge and the shower was great.

Clean and functional
Hotel is perfect for easy night's sleep and breakfast. Doesn't have high-end amenities like others in the area (ex. Spa, pool, etc), but, it's perfect for the price if you just need a clean, comfortable place to sleep in Montecatini Terme.

A nice hotel in a great area. Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. Very close to beautiful park with many hiking and walking trails. Would recommend it.

Very nice boutique hotel in the center of town. Room was very clean, bright and spacious enough for 2 people. Bathroom was very nice, great shower and water pressure. Very quiet, even at night when we slept with the windows wide open. Carlo was very attentive, he made great recommendations for dining, cooking classes and other sites, and always available to open a bottle of wine for us. I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone wanting a clean and comfortable stay in Montecatini. We did not have a car, so I don't know about parking if you should have one. You can get anywhere by train at either of the train stations in town, the hotel is closest to the Center station, a short few minute walk. Taxi fare to the Florence airport was a bit high at 45Euro per person, but quick and much better than taking the train and bus. I would recommend that you do that. Carlo can arrange that for the return trip, we did not do that on arrival and wish we had made that arrangement ahead of time. Breakfast was better than at most places I've stayed at in Montecatini, but you do get bored with it after a few days, but that's no different than other hotels. Very safe area of Montecatini even if you're out late and walking to the hotel.

Our room was simple but stylish. The bathroom was huge with a great shower. The front desk staff was very helpful. Free parking was available 2-3 long blocks away but, due to one way streets, it would have been hard to locate without the excellent directions from the staff. The "star of the show" was the magnificent breakfast, which was included in the room price. Too many tasty things to list but having two kinds of eggs to choose from made my (American) husband very happy. We would gladly stay at Smart Hotel Bartolini again,

I was with the tour group and assigned hotel was just terrible. Searched up last minute and was amazingly nice. Price was amazing with decent breakfast. I would go back if ever visit the area again.

We enjoyed this hotel, the staff and the fine breakfast very much. Town is a great central location for visiting Lucca, Pisa and Florence. Montecatini Terme and Alto also very woth the visit.

Great location, great value and friendly staff.
Bit surprised that the hotel was so good for the money. The service on arrival was great - really friendly - and the room was lovely. Especially the massive bathroom and power shower! Locations superb and no need to worry about parking as free car park is 5 mins walk away. Would definitely recommend.

This is the best hotel of all I have stayed in!
Hotel Bartolini is situated in the center of Montecatini, two blocks from Redi Terme, about 7 minutes walk to train station, three minutes walk to the central shopping street. Lady and gentleman on reception were very friendly and kind. They patiently answered all our questions, printed train schedules for us, and make us feel welcomed. Room was always clean, bathroom fully supplied: shampoo, soap, lotion, shower cap, etc. Breakfast buffet was amazing: fresh and tasty, a lot of meal choices and every day was something new in menu. The lady in the kitchen made cappuccino on order and she did it well! Room with two single beds was large and bright. There was a fridge in the room, as well as TV. I will definitely stay there again!

I highly recommend this jotel. Francesca and Carlo were wonderful hosts and the service was eccellent. You will be spoilt by there care and concern for your every wish. Helpful with info and the breakfasts were fantastic. Five Star.

Superb service and value.
Spent 9 days touring Tuscany. From the moment we arrived until we departed the service was excellent - nothing was too much trouble for any member of staff.Parking available free nearby - 200 metres. Train station 10 minutes walk. Small number of rooms ensures very personal service. Large bedroom and very large modern bathroom.Superb value. I doubted prior reviews could be totally true but they were. Would stay in this hotel anytime. Highly recommended.

Extremly clean and comfortable hotel with nice and helpful staff. Located in a lovely town that's nice for an evening walk. Fairly close to Piza and Florence if you have a car. Delicious breakfast with a wide variety of food and fresh coffee. Loved the hotel and would definitely recommend it!!!

Good location. Rooms small and not great furniture and no closet . However bathroom was amazing and very modern and shower just great. No bath. Breakfast was exceptional. All u could want. I'd call this s tourist hotel not more than the basic amenities. For the price of a tourist hotel it was all that we needed for a great stay in a great town. Would return again with no second thoughts if Carlo is still around. He made the stay exceptional.

Great stay in a very Friendly Hotel.
I emailed the Hotel to say I had booked a late flight into Pisa and would not be at the Hotel until around 1 in the morning. I was informed this would be no problem they would wait for me. Due to a delay at the car hire I did not arrive until 2 am. The owner was waiting for us and made me and my wife very welcome. The Hotel rooms were very clean and the cleanliness was maintained every day with very helpful staff. The breakfast provided was also of a high quality and pleny of it, also coffee and tea was provided as you entered the dining area. The staff made us feel very welcome and could not have been more helpful. The position of the Hotel is ideal far enough away from the centre of Montecatini to be quite and close enough for an easy walk to the centre. Also there is a market very close so not to far away to buy gifts to take home. I would recommend a car to visit the area of Tuscany which is stunning. Also there are great train and bus connections from the town to other areas of Tuscany if you prefer not to drive.

The Best Hotel in Montecatini !
Every thing about this stay was perfect! First of all the staff was so kind and helpful. Always with a smile and willingness to help! The room was beyond our expectations. The room was very spacious and the bathroom beautiful! We truly didn't want to leave. The breakfast was delicious and they took the extra step to make fresh coffee or tea for you! We were so surprised by this wonderful hotel and would definitely stay there again.

very pleasantly surprised with this hotel, for the price its truly great value. We arrived very late and Carlo was a superstar who stayed late to make sure we arrived safely and got settled. Really cant say thanks enough. Room was large, clean and modern, great bathroom too. I only saw my room so I cant say if they are all this modern. Would stay again.
