Great experience!Posted May 26, 2013
Pros: The people and the gardens.
Location: Near Fort Polk and the beautiful Kissatchie National Forest.
Allen Acres is a wonderful experience. It is clean and the Allens are delightful. The B&B has a lovely living room well stocked with magazines about the flora and fauna of Louisiana. The surrounding gardens are a delight and Dr. Allen, a botanist, will answer any question. I would never stay anywhere else in west central Louisiana. If you have business at Fort Polk, treat yourself to a stay at Allen Acres.

Can't wait to go backPosted Mar 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had a wonderful time. The room was cozy and the bed was comfortable, slept like babies. Very quiet, out in the country setting, was very enjoyable to hear the crickets. The bathroom was spacious, and a nice common area, with a fridge, and kitchenware. The owners are great and we look forward to seeing them again!!!

Hospitality the way it was meant to be.Posted Aug 30, 2010 on Hotels.com
The only real words I can use to describe my stay at Allen Acres is: I will not stay anyplace else again! This is what a B and B is meant to be.
