Pitten is situated 55 miles (89 kilometers) northeast of Graz and about 35 miles (56 kilometers) south of Vienna, Austria's capital.
While it may be tempting to simply sit back and relax when holidaying in Pitten, remember, Lower Austria's numerous natural and man-made attractions are never more than a day trip away. Pinggau, 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the north, and Ebreichsdorf, 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the southwest of Pitten are also well worth checking out.
